    reporting back! interview went well today (was done in 30 minutes) approved right on spot but my FO doesn't offer same day oath status changed from "recommended for approval" to "oath ceremony will be scheduled" on the same day!

    that's not entirely true - you need to have bought or rented a place for at least three months (establishing residence), but you are free to travel (if you never move/change your permanent address). I assume OP is just taking a trip to the philipines. for example, you bought a new house in January 2024 and have lived there since. You take a trip to Canada for two days and came back to this house. You do not need to wait another 90 days after you come back before you file since your residence has been established for 8 months (since January 2024)
