  1. Hi Assila, I received the interview letter through email on July 5. I don't think they will send a hard copy on the mail. That's good to know. Thank you! Can I also interpret for them or do we need to request for an interpreter?
  2. Hi everyone! I am a naturalized US Citizen living in USA, and I petitioned my Filipino parents 3 years ago. Their petition is now approved and the interview is scheduled next month- August. I am planning to go home to the Philippines to accompany and become the interpreter during their interview. Am I allowed to do that? I would to like book a ticket as soon as possible. For those who recently had their visa interview (IR5), how did it go and what were the questions asked? Another thing is, do you remember the oath you pledged at the embassy during your interview? Could you please share? I would like to be prepared and be familiar with it just in case I am allowed to accompany them and be the interpreter? If you have any suggestions and recommendations for preparing for the interview, please kindly share. Thank you!
  3. Hi caloy00! Do you remember off hand kung ano ang oath of allegiance na pinabasa sayo during your visa interview? I will be interpreting for my parents on their IR5 visa and I want to be familiar with the oath in English and Tagalog. Thank you!
