By the way, my friend asked for a waiver at the time of the interview because she never filed any immigration process in the US and I did, I filed for adjustment of status... By the way, this just makes me want to delete this post and not share anything because there are only negative people here wanting to put me down when I'm already so sick because of all this.

It's always like this... people attacking with words before and the excuses is the intention of helping, when the reasons why I was left in the country are nobody's business. Furthermore, the consul could have requested a waiver at the time of the interview and denied the visa, but he didn't. He asked me for a document that has nothing to do with the waiver, just about a traffic ticket!

Is the girl at the consulate wrong? Because everyone says she's right, including the lawyer, and you're the only one who said that... My excessive stay during the pandemic, which I wouldn't even have been able to leave, except by swimming in the sea, was already forgiven previously in my status adjustment! And did the consul know about this in the interview about the waiver? So why didn't he ask for it right away like he did with my friend???? Why would the girl say it was approved? 🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡

You don't understand???? My exemption was during the pandemic, one year and eleven months! I know the waiver and bar rule but the CONSUL DID NOT ASK ME FOR A WAIVER, He just gave me a white sheet asking for another document that has nothing to do with bar! CASV is the place where we go to get the forms and have our fingers printed and there the girl told me that my visa was approved and that I would receive the passport at my house!

I don't understand what happened in my IR1 visa interview. I recently had my interview at the consulate in Rio de Janeiro and the consul was supposed to ask me for a 601 waiver, but in my interview, besides not even saying the waiver, he didn't tell me if the visa was approved or denied, he just gave me a sheet of 221g asking for a document. I took this document to CASV, the visa application service center, and there the lady said that my passport would arrive at home with my visa approved? What do you mean? Is this a miracle? But when I get to the visa tracking, it shows as refused? What's going on? And when will I get my passport back? Can they still deny it or ask for a waiver? I'm confused and distressed...

I don't choose to leave my son! I left the United States to return to Brazil to take care of him when he got sick! Before that, I was stuck in the pandemic and soon got married and I was supposed to have my GC at six months and return to Brazil to do their process in Brazil, but that didn't happen and that's why I said I don't care anymore because I can't change the past. I already have a lawyer but I don't agree with the coldness with which he is handling my case, that's why I'm here! I said in the first comment that I didn't agree with what my lawyer said! In 2020 the exit doors WERE NOT OPEN AND THE CONSULATES WERE NOT OPEN EITHER! In 2021 the doors opened but I was already married and so it was close to being able to get my GC but that didn't happen because USCIS never refused my AOS and all the thousands of times I tried to expedite, I never got a single answer. I NEVER LEFT MY SON, I NEVER CHOSE TO LEAVE HIM, especially when he was sick, or else I wouldn't be suffering now having to go through this and a waiver or having the risk of having to send them to live with their stepfather, which would be impossible due to their psychological conditions! Thank you all for all advices! God bless you all.

Yeaaah and I was MARRIED!!!! I am here to asking help not be judged! It's not up to you to tell me now what I should have done years ago! I couldn't leave the country and leave my husband!!!! I was one year with my AOS pending but the USCIS never judged my case, simply 19 months of age and nothing!!!!
