  1. So my fiancee in London finally got approved and issued the visa September 13th. It says on his Visa it expires 3rd of January, 2025. Surely that's not 6 months to give him enough time to pack up, sell his stuff and book his flight. Now does that date also mean that's when we have until to get married? We're confused and panicking a little because we aimed to marry end of February or beginning of March 2025.
  2. That's gotta be so gut wrenching! Hopefully ours doesn't go that way and that the medical was there when he did his interview. (He wasn't told if they received documents from elsewhere.) We just hope we're as lucky as some of the people who commented that interviewed at London and got their approval and passport quickly! We're so anxious sitting here waiting to know a definite answer.
  3. That gives us a little bit more hope. He said the officer was really nice and saif he sees no reason for a denial on everything he saw we turned in so far, so we're just crossing our fingers and hoping to hear a final decision soon. He planned on moving December 26th so we're hoping we find out before then.
  4. Thanks. We thought from what everyone else said was the interviewing officer is who makes the decision. Guess we were mislead a bit. We'll keep an eye on that status. Any idea about how long that takes after an interview?
  5. So my fiancee attended the interview. Said it was very short and brief, but the officer was pleasant. We are confused though and not sure if we should celebrate, or hold off. At the end of the interview, the officer said their system was acting up today but from what he could see and my partner's answers, (and I'm assuming all the relative documents he handed the first officer) that he sees no reason for a denial, so for him it's basically a "pre approved yes" and then proceeded to take his passport and said he will be notified when to come get his documents and passport. Has anyone else had this issue? This was in London for further reference. We are just confused because it wasn't a clear 100% yes or 100% no..
  6. So I'm the petitioner for a K-1 Visa with my partner who resides in the UK. Our application has been approved by USCIS, then passed through NVC, then landed in London. He already did his medical, got his police acro, and is about to file the DS-160 and schedule for the actual Visa Interview. This is where we're freaking out a little. We know the i-134 form is needed at the interview, but I, the petitioner have received no letters since NVC let us know it was shipped off to London. Where, when, and how do I even file that in order for my fiancee to have a copy of it with him when he goes to his interview if they do not receive it by the time his interview happens? This is what we're worried about. That they won't get it and deny us or prolong the visa process.
