Did she get to you Benjamin? I pray so! St Lukes just sent the good results of her sputum form 8 weeks ago and we sent the embassy the couple required originals that they needed to meet the 221g request. Praying it is not still months, but It has been a couple years of pure hell and I expect nothing less at this point. The good news is that I have been able to visit here in the Philippines often and we have built a wonderful house that I love. I consider the Philippines my home, but want my wife to experience the US and meet my family for a bit. Godspeed!!

The chest Xray did not go well for our CR-1. The doctor informed us that we can still go to our Visa interview at Manila Embassy while waiting for the sputum test, is this true? We are still not sure that we have an appointment, we scheduled it on ustraveldocs, but still haven't received a confirmation and have tried their help phone line & email - to no avail.

Yes she can go to the interview my fiance had to do her interview back on Nov. 19th. Unfortunately the sputum tests takes about 2 months and we didn't get her results back until Jan. 3rd. She dropped off her passport and some documents on the 6th where they said it could take months to process. We are still waiting as of now

Sorry to be the one to give you that news it's been one heartbreak after another for us. Our Interview was 2 months ago and we are still not approved. I would recommend if you can wait to do your interview until after medical results are in to avoid the 221g do so. I don't know how it works to reschedule your interview though we did not do that but wish we had. I do not want to give you false information but I would look into it.
From what I'm seeing people are getting their visa a few days after the interview when they have everything and processing can take months if put on 221.

I-130 (IR1) Approval...14 Months.
Stupid old question, for those that have received Philippine approval fairly recently, how long did it take for the physical and interview to happen after approval? Thanks
