Updates: I called USCIS and scheduled an appointment with the local USCIS Field Office for June 17, 2025. During the appointment, I explained my situation and resubmitted all the documents I had provided throughout my immigration process. The officer issued a temporary I-551 stamp in my passport, valid for one year starting from June 17, 2025, and informed me that my case would proceed once they reconstruct my IV packet.

I entered through Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). You can send the e-request tomorrow. Hope you can get feedback as soon as possible.

Updates: Things become ridiculous!!!😭 I sent the second e-request to USCIS on June 2, 2025, and I just got feedback from USCIS today. USCIS said they did not receive my Immigrant Visa (IV) Packet!!!!!! They ask me to schedule an appointment with local Field Office, then submit all documents again to reconstruct my IV Packet... Here is the email: A search of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records indicates that USCIS has not received your Department of State (DOS) issued Immigrant Visa (IV) Packet, which should have been submitted by the Port of Entry (POE) when you entered the United States. USCIS requires a completed IV Packet to process your Permanent Resident Card (PRC). If you are in possession of your IV Packet, please mail the complete IV Packet to the following address: USCIS Attn: IV 2501 S State Highway 121 Business Suite 400 Lewisville, TX 75067 If you are not in possession of your IV Packet, you will need to schedule an appointment with your local Field Office by visiting the USCIS webpage at my.uscis.gov/en/appointment/v2. Once scheduled, you will receive confirmation of your appointment date and time as well as any other instructions for your appointment. You will need to take the following to your Field Office appointment: 1. A copy of this letter 2. Proof of identity (This would be a passport or national photo identification issued by your country, driver’s license, military photo identification or a state-issued photo identification) 3. A copy of your immigrant visa documentation, which would include all evidence you submitted to USCIS related to the underlying petition, and the documents that you submitted to the Department of State. This would generally include: a. A copy of the underlying petition (I-130, I-140, etc.) with original signature and any supporting documentation submitted with the petition. b. A copy of your birth certificate with translation, if applicable. c. Derivatives’ supporting civil documents (birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce decree, etc.) demonstrating the relationship to the principal beneficiary/immigrant, if applicable. Your local Field Office will reconstruct the IV Packet. If you have not received a response from USCIS within 90 days of your appointment, please notify us using the contact information below. My IV package was submitted when I crossed the border. I don't understand why USCIS hasn't received it. Well, there's nothing I can do except follow the instructions. I really don’t know if another 90 days or more of waiting lies ahead...

OK, I see. Thanks a lot for the information!

Oh, I didn’t realize that before—I thought you were referring to the timeline in the spreadsheet (Montreal EB Visas - Google Sheets). Anyway, I’ve updated both of them now. Thank you so much for your help!
-
Thank you so much for your explanation. I hope your daughter receives her new card as soon as possible. I just sent a request to the owner for the edit access and will add my timeline once I receive it.

Yes, that might be the reason. Although my online status still shows "within 90 days," it seems the actual processing time has been extended. I am a little confused why the final step—printing and mailing the green card—can take so long. Does USCIS need to review any additional documents before they can mail the card?
-
Got it. Thank you so much. I will file the e-request again.
-
update: I had an online chat with a USCIS agent today, and she told me, "The case is processing. The only thing you can do is continue to wait or file Form I-90 to replace the card. Filing Form I-90 takes longer." I guess there’s nothing I can do but wait.
-
Thank you! I just realized I had never noticed Emma on the website of USCIS until you told me. I will try it first. Thanks again.

Got it. Thank you so much. I was failed to add my case to myUSCIS account previously because I didn't receive the online access code. I just found a phone number (National Customer Service Center 1-800-375-5283) from the previous email, and I will try to call them if I don't get any feedback after tomorrow.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply. Yes, I have checked my spam folder. Hope I can receive it later today.

Hi, may I ask how you communicated with USCIS after you submitted your inquiry? I never expected the final step to take this long... It has been over 120 days since I crossed the border, but I'm still waiting for my green card. My online status still shows "Immigrant Visa Fee Payment Received..." I submitted an e-request to USCIS on April 25, 2025, following their 90-day instruction, and received a confirmation stating I would receive a reply by May 27, 2025. But today is May 27, and I still haven’t received any response.

Hi, may I ask how long you waited to receive feedback from USCIS after submitting your daughter's request? I submitted an e-request ("Did not receive card by mail") on April 25, 2025 (it's the 91st day after I entered US), and received a confirmation email from USCIS stating: "USCIS will review and process the request. Expect a reply by May 27, 2025." Today is May 27, but I still haven't received any feedback. I'm not sure what I should do next.

Got it. Thanks a lot for the information.

Yes. I received SSN after about 10 days I crossed bolder, really don't understand why GC is so slow, even no any updates from USCIS.

I’m in the same situation. There are some discussions about this issue from page 245 to page 247. I also didn’t receive the Online Access Code, so I submitted the request form to USCIS. However, their response was: "After careful review, we were unable to generate a new Online Access Code associated with the Receipt Number you have provided. To view the status of your case, please go to our Case Status Online (https://egov.uscis.gov/) web page." So I guess if you didn't receive the Online Access Code, the receipt number is the only way to check your case status for now. By the way, it’s been 80 days since I crossed the border, and I still haven’t received my Green Card...

Got it. Thank you so much!

Yes, but it doesn't hurt much more, just want to find another way to track. I guess I have nothing to do now but waiting until 90 days, then send a request following the instruction. Thank you for your help.

I received email from USCIS after submitting "Requesting a new Online Access Code", USCIS says: "After careful review, we were unable to generate a new Online Access Code associated with the Receipt Number you have provided. To view the status of your case, please go to our Case Status Online web page." So I cannot add my case to MyUSCIS, this option of checking status doesn't work for me.
-
Got it. Really appreciate your help!
-
Thank you so much. I didn't have the code in my NOA and just sent a request for a new Online access code.
-
Thank you so much for sharing your details here. It seems that I am still in the stage 1...I will try to contact USCIS for update. Thanks again.
-
Thank you. I have created a MyUSCIS account, but I cannot add my case into MyUSCIS, because it asks to provide "Online Access Code", I didn't receive this kind of code during my application. I have Case #, Registration #, Receipt #, I don't know where the "Online Access Code" comes from...Did you receive the "Online Access Code" during application?

Thank you. Yes, I have checked my status, the following is what it shows: "On January 23, 2025, we received your USCIS Immigrant fee payment for your Permanent Resident Card related to your immigrant visa. We will be processing the request for production of your Permanent Resident Card. You should receive your Permanent Resident Card within 90 days of your entry into the United States or within 90 days after your USCIS Immigrant Fee payment is received. If you do not receive your Permanent Resident Card, visit the USCIS Contact Center webpage at www.uscis.gov/contactcenter. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."
