So my family is on an H visa, and I wanted to visit my family for the summer on a B2 visa, I am an international student (in a country which I am not a citizen or a resident of). My father had solicited for some unpaid internships, nothing official, and I in naivety without looking up the legality of it, went along, I had an interview with them etc, All of this was before I visited the US. I only came to know about my visa stipulations that included that i could not work, only the day I was leaving for the States. Then after arriving I told my father about this and we declined the internship offer the following day. I do not intend to work in the US. However this was after the customs, and I did not mention anything about the internships and all. Would this be seen as misrepresentation and would this come back to bite me, I think I have learned my lesson to double check everything on the basis of legality whilst i visit the USA.
One more query I had is whether people can report any queries of this sort, to the USCIS as I posted a similar question to reddit, which I had given to the uscis as prt of my ds160, or do the USCIS routinely check these accounts
im sorry
