Interview is scheduled! Pretty nervous.
What do you need to bring or prepare to the interview? Do you need to bring the copies of application documents like I-485 ? Or just new information

I haven’t received it. Do I have to go to SSA to ask for it personally? I thought I will receive an updated SSC together with my EAD but I didn’t. I’m already employed.
I have received my SSN before marrying and it had restrictions. I thought USCIS informed SSA when my EAD got approved.

Got EAD in about 40 days. Still waiting to get interview scheduled. Case at NBC. Receipt block IOE09309. The block seems to be getting processed at a quicker rate based on casestatusext.
Filed 3/25.
How do you know if the case is at the NBC?

So everyone will need to have to do a medical exam in US? Even though doctor abroad marked that all vaccination was complete. As far as I know, polio vaccine is usually given for newborn babies.
-
I have a social security number, I went to the office to receive it when I came with a K1 visa before marrying my spouse.
-
I'm not sure what to do. I try to apply for some jobs and their online applications usually ask this question: "If you are eligible to work in US?". Technically, no, because without EAD card you cannot work but at least during the interview I can say that I am able to start as soon as I get the physical card and EAD is approved and I have notice. Should I wait then?

For that part, we followed the instructions exactly. It says to write the most recent address outside the US where you lived for more than 1 year. For Jaycel, this was a boarding house she lived from 2021-2022 while she was in College. The other addresses she had between then and the time she moved here were all less than 1 year each. For those addresses, we put them in the 5 year list which we had to use the "Additional Information" page to list them all.
Okay, thank you so much for the help! I really apppreciate your help and time to answer these questions! Thank you!!!
So regarding marriage date, it is the date judge signed the marriage license in the probate court not when marriage happened with wedding officiant, right?
Regarding employment and educational history part. It ask "Employer or school (the most recent one)" and then the name of the employer. So if I understood correctly they ask me to write if it was employer or school first and then in another spot write the name of it. Instead of writing the name two times right?
When you say current income, you mean I should calculate the yearly income from the most recent monthly income instead of using the income which is listed in the tax return transcript, w2 or letter of employment, right?

About addresses: you don't have to live at address for 5 years to list it.
If you lived at address A for 1 year, address B for 2 years and address C for 2 years, you list them all because it was in the last 5 years. Same about current address. List your current address, it doesn't matter you didn't live there long.
Part 4. Correct, unless anybody applied for you to come on immigrant visa, the answer is No. K-1 is non-immigrant.
But in the form it says write the most recent address where you lived more than one year. But i lived longer than one year in one location 2 years-3 years ago, so it is not that recent anymore and in the most recent locations I lived only 11 months and 4 months.

Thank you for the all answers, I appreciate the effort and help.
I read on the VisaJourney forum that some people received their SSN as soon as they arrived, even before filing the I-485. Is that correct, or do you get a new SSN only after your EAD is approved? The physician from the K1 medical exam told me that the X-rays would need to be submitted somewhere, which has left me a bit confused. I thought they had to be sent along with the I-485 form. I read that other people needed to undergo an additional medical exam in the U.S. to complete the I-693 form because either the file provided by the consulate was lost when it was handed to the border officer upon arrival or it was filled out incorrectly. Does the file I received from the consulate already contain the X-ray images?

Hello,
I have read Visajourney forums regarding AOS. However, I need some confirmation regarding certain questions.
If the marriage certificate has both our old names, is it okay, or should it have a new maiden name on it?
Should I write a new maiden name in all forms: I485, I864, I765? I want to have my wife's surname next to mine as well since she is American and it is common to have two surnames. Should I also update the name I want to have on all of these documents as well? Because I read there will be some issues with SSC. Some people suggested in the forum that you can change your name during N-400.
Regarding form I-485, Part 1 item 25 a) Should you write K1 Fiance, or how exactly should you write it?Regarding form I-485, Part 2 item 3 Receipt number of the underlying petition? Is it from the NOA1 or NOA2 from K1? Or is it the case number assigned by the NVC?
Should you add a completed Ds3025+(CD and flash drive with X-rays) from the K1 medical exam to the I-485 form?Regarding form I-765, I-485, I-864 mailing address. Is it okay to write the same address as my wife since we have lived together since I arrived in the US with a K1 visa? Or do you still write an old address in Lithuania?
Regarding form I-765 Part 2 Item 23 Place of your last arrival into the United States. Do you write the city and the state and the airport?
Regarding form I-765 Part 2 Item 24 Immigration status at your last arrival. Since I arrived with K-1 visa, I wrote "K-1 Fiance" or should I phrase it differently?
Regarding form I-765 Part 2 Item 25 Your current immigration status. If I file for AOS and marry within 90 days after I arrive, do you still write K-1 fiance? Or if you file AOS 90 days later, what do you write then?
Regarding form I-765 Part 2 Item 27 Eligibility category. I wrote (c)(9) like in the image I attached to this post. If that is okay, the way I wrote it. Should
Is it okay to send evidence of living together, such as a bill with both our names on it, or does it have to be a lease agreement or a driving license? What would it be better?
Should I also list a new telephone number I got in the US or the old one I used for K1 visa? -
Hello,
I have a question regarding a job change after filing DS160 and booking an interview date for a K1 visa at the US consulate if you have to submit a new DS160 form? Or can you inform them during the interview? -
Hello,
I got a question if beneficiary can beneficiary change job position and have a temporary job before he leaves to US or before the interview after filing DS-160 or will that require beneficiary to submit a new DS-160 after already booking an interview?
-
Hello,
Regarding medical exam. Is it okay to have a medical exam a month before the interview? Or is it preferred to have it as close as possible to the interview? For example, won't it affect the process when I file for AOS? I heard that many people had to redo the medical examination. -

Does anyone know where can I find the priority date? I heard it is in the NOA1 when USCIS received the application. Is it correct?
Case ID is the case number from the NVC, right?

Hello,
When you schedule the interview, what is the case ID and the priority date? Is case ID the number on NOA1,2 from USCIS or case number from NVC?

Thank you for the help. I thought like something was wrong with my application. Also regarding this question:
DS-160 Part Additional Work/Education/Training Information Q: Have you resided in any country/region for six months or longer since you attained 16 years of age?Do you have to write your national country where you were born as well?
-
Also, do you translate the address from your national language to English? Like g. (in national language) to st. (street in English).
-
Regarding previous work experience in the last five years.
I don't know if anyone encountered this problem but I can only add 2 job positions and it doesn't let me add more. Did anyone else have the same issue? -

30 days after your most recent login is the maximum time your unsubmitted application will be saved. There is no requirement to submit it within 30 days. It's just letting you know that if you start an application, then return 31 days later, it might be gone. Each time you login, the 30 days start over.
I don't remember seeing the expiration date you mentioned. Perhaps it means your current session will expire on the date listed.
Thank you for your answer. I also wanted to double-check a few questions because I read other forums in Visajourney but everyone gave different answers for it.
For the question do you have any immediate relatives, not including parents in the US, shall I put my fiancee as my relative? (Yes, I know it says on the right-hand side that "fiance", but some people in this forum said it should be "no", which is a bit confusing what is the right answer for this).
For the question about the person/entity paying for your trip, shall I put SELF or US Petitioner on a K1 visa? (Since the petitioner files the I134 form and sponsors beneficiary, should it be the US petitioner then?)
For the question have you attended any educational institutions at the secondary level or above? Do you list all your previous education you attended in descending order? Or only the most recent one where you graduated? (Again this question got answered differently by many people) -

Question regarding ds160. I read that there is a 30 day time limit to file DS160. Basically the DS160 has to be submitted in 30 days after the application. Can someone confirm this? Because in the top right corner it says that it expires today even though I started last week?
I started the form last Sunday. -

Regarding vaccinations. I read that I should get a copy of the DS3025 document with all my vaccinations after the medical exam. So I should ask the physician during a medical exam for a copy?
Did you have to get the Pneumococcal vaccine? -

If you are referring to the embassy specific instructions ( see here for Frankfurt ), all the required documents on that list refer to the beneficiary, except the I-134 (Declaration of FInancial Support) and the evidence required for that form.
Thank you so much for the clarification!
