    I didn't get an email. I think you will just get a notification somehow when it's out for delivery back to you, from what @appleblossom is saying

    That's frustrating. I'm sure they will issue it soon thought as they're now available. I didn't get an email when it was issued, I just checked CEAC

    I also sent my passport back to them last Friday, and saw it's now been updated as issued. Good luck to everyone!

    Oh got it. I imagine it's because of the October 1st thing. They announced the limit had been reached before the interviews on September 6th.

    If this is London it's probably because they're not issuing them until October 1st.

    Got it. They told me I didn't need to leave my passport. Not sure why.

    I was interviewed last Friday. They told me I was qualified, just need to email them when the visa bulletin is released, then they will organise sending back my passport, and it will be issued October 1st.

    Was this in London? They told me they won't be issued until October 1st in London at least.

    I don't know if the limit has been reached on EB2 but it was on EB1. So they told me to keep passport and send it back in before October 1.

    I think administrative processing and the issue of the visa limit being reached are two separate things. Did they give you a green sheet with info on it?

    Had my interview last Friday. The process was very straightforward, just some admin questions then what is your area of expertise. They informed me they had run out of my visa category for the year (EB1), so I just need to send my passport back to the embassy for October 1st and they will issue it then. Good luck to everyone! 13th May - DQ 29th July - IL 6th September - Interview
