  1. It's understandable. If you can increase it that would be great but if not, I can just delete older attachments if I want to share something in the future Appreciate everyone's responses!
  2. The only thing with it not being done is that they will not process her I-765 without biometrics. Over the last few months, looking at lots of timelines here, YT and other places, the I-765 usually gets approved within a couple of days after the biometrics and the card is received within 10-15 days after that. My wife just wants to work... not too concerned with the processing time of the AOS so much. Another reason the K-1 route is inferior I guess....
  3. When they issue the visa it is valid for 6 months from the date of your medical exam.
  4. It appears with this portal that it will not recognize the NVC case number as valid until the CEAC status changes to "Ready"
  5. Yes it does... We filed Jaycel's AOS about a month ago and we were hoping she would have got her biometrics appt by now so they can process her EAD and despite thousands in the same receipt block getting theirs, we are still sitting at "Case Was Received". Poor thing is going a little crazy not being able to work....
  6. Ugh I feel you.... Keep us updated on where you are with it
  7. I hope so... she's going a little crazy without being able to work hehehe Thank you for the kind thoughts!
  8. So glad he got his EAD!! I wish we could get the Biometrics for Jaycel soon
  9. How do I do that? I went back to one of my old posts with an attachment and don't see how to delete the attachment 🤷‍♂️
  10. The instructions on the I-864 suggest 6 months of pay stubs and an employment letter. I would build the strongest case possible and send as much as you can instead of seeking the bare minimum you can get away with. I also suggest you download the I-864 instructions from the USCIS website so that you can see what they recommend there. Ultimately it’s up to you to satisfy the RFE because if you don’t, they will deny your application.
  11. Dang… I didn’t know there was a total allotted. Thank you for the heads up about smallpdf, I’ve never heard of that before
  12. No.... The instructions for the I-864 are very clear that you do not submit those if you are submitting a Tax Return transcript unless they filed jointly with their spouse and only want to qualify using only their own income. Excerpt from the instructions below: If you provide a photocopy of your Federal individual income tax returns, you must include a copy of each and every Form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your returns. Do not include copies of these forms if you provide an IRS transcript of your Federal individual income tax returns rather than a photocopy unless you filed a joint income tax return with your spouse and are qualifying using only your income.
  13. The asset and liability question on the I-485 has ranges and they don't need proof correlated to the I-864 because as long as your income is sufficient to be more than 125% of the poverty guidelines, you do not need to include assets on the I-864. It is an optional section. Just check the appropriate boxes. The I-864 is where you prove your income is enough to sponsor. No need to appraise your house because as others stated above, you can't use it on the I-864 anyway.
  14. @Zen77 If you want to see screen grabs of the cover letters we sent with Jaycel's AOS packet (with our personal info changed to generic stuff ), I included them on the first page of this thread:
  15. Yes, a copy would have been in your sealed yellow packet along with your medical exam report from the panel physician. When you go through the PoE and CBP takes this packet, they then send it to USCIS to add to your A-File. The copy of the DS-3025 that you file with your I-485 is a reminder for the adjudicating officer to look in your A-File for your medical report. Now that they changed the rules on Dec. 2nd about including the I-693 with your I-485 or it will get rejected? Including this copy of your DS-3025 also serves to show proof that you are exempt from the I-693 requirement so that they will not reject your AOS.
  16. If these "missing" vaccinations have letters indicated in the "Blanket Waiver" column then your vaccines are considered "Complete" for USCIS's purposes. As long as the form is signed and that checkbox I talked about earlier is checked then you should be able to just send a copy of both pages of the DS-3025 along with your I-485 and should be exempt from the I-693 requirement. Keep in mind that accepting your DS-3025 and overseas medical is up to the discretion of the adjudicating officer, but the copy of the DS-3025 should be sufficient for filing the I-485
  17. Any site admins - Is there a reason that when I post now, if I want to include an attachment (Screenshot, etc.) it says "Max total size: 4.72kB"? It basically means I can't add attachment to any of my posts. I would add a screenshot to show you what it says but..... 😁
  18. Same... From what I got from other AOS filers, since the two cases are linked on the online portal as "Concurrent Filing" the Biometrics Appointment notice comes on the I-485 and when it's received, it has both I-485 and I-765 forms listed on it as the "Case Type", with two separate barcodes. That's why I'm following the I-485 and checking the document tab every day. November 18, 2024 Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent On November 18, 2024, we received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number IOE09286XXXX, and sent you a receipt notice or acceptance notice.
  19. Ugh.... Still no biometrics appointment. Out of 8862 I-485s in our IOE-09-286 receipt block, we are one of only 995 that are still sitting at "Case Was Received". My poor wife..... She doesn't care how long the GC takes to be approved, she just wants to work.
  20. @Zen77 Do you have a DS-3025 Vaccination Worksheet form from your overseas medical exam that was completed and signed by the physician and on page 2 is it check marked "K Visa applicant voluntarily completed vaccination requirements"?
  21. Well I’m a firm believer in sending the strongest case possible for any immigration benefit application and to me that includes strong primary and secondary evidence. Happy you guys didn’t have any issues but personally I wouldn’t want to risk it. Just my own personal philosophy
  22. yes that is on the list of acceptable proof
