  1. Ugh 😢 The embassies are so bad at this
  2. I second this... Rapid Visa will do nothing but cause you headaches. If you're going to spend the money anyway, may as well hire an attorney. Co-mingling of finances and evidence of co-habitation as a married couple are the gold standards of a bona fide marriage in USCIS's eyes. A letter explaining why you don't have these things and a story about your relationship will hold no weight with the adjudicator when processing your application for AOS. Rapid Visa is not helping you here. My advice is to file with everything you have currently and while your AOS is processing, work on getting joint accounts opened, get both of your names on the utility/mobile phone bills, etc. so that you have this stuff ready to submit in case you get an RFE or an interview. USCIS knows that when adjusting from a K-1 there is not an abundance of evidence at the AOS stage, so do the best that you can.
  3. Thanks man! Glad you were able to get the records. Glad someone could learn from my RFE experience 🙂 Our AOS package was delivered to the lockbox this morning so now the waiting begins. Appreciate the kind words!
  4. From everything I've read, that probably means the interview has been waived and you are on your way to approval! Sending good thoughts your way... please update this thread with what happens next!
  5. Ah ok didn’t know you tried that… Sending good thoughts your way!
  6. Try contacting them using thus form https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/
  7. @hplusj and @ETM8986 here's the post I made for November 2024 filers 😁
  8. @ETM8986 That's great!! Was the electronic notice that was in your spam the notice of receipt of your package? What date did the e-notice arrive? Did it give you the receipt number or did that just come with on the NOA in the mail? Sorry for the million questions. LOL We just sent ours via FedEx to the Phoenix LockBox yesterday and it is scheduled to be delivered Monday so I'm trying to get an idea of what to expect. 😁 By the way.... I created a post for us November filers if you want to jump in there
  9. Sorry yes... I got this confused with another post where they went to "Approved". It sounds like they are at least actively working the case

  11. Did it go back to "Ready" or was it a typo and you meant to say "Still says 'Approved'"?
  12. Include a cover letter with your RFE response listing the evidence you are sending in and stating that you made an error in the date of the court case you listed on your I-129F and now that you have received the official records you see that it was actually in 1992. Good luck... this is the first of this type of issue I've seen here on VJ so keep us posted on their response to it.
  13. The NBI clearance should have a "Valid Until" date on it. As long as the interview is before that date, it should be ok. (If it's close then I would definitely get it renewed to be sure). For tax documents, 2023 is the most recent tax year. Unless you are saying your documents submitted to NVC are the 2023 documents from tax year 2022... then I don't know enough about the I-130 process to tell you if you should upload the new ones unsolicited. It is true that cellphones are not allowed into the embassy, but there are people right outside where you check in who will hold your phones for a small fee (200-300P I think).
  14. Yes, once it is "Approved" it goes through final checks before issuance. I get the frustration, Jaycel and I were apart for almost exactly one year (51 weeks to be exact) before she arrived here. I'll share what I said to someone else on here just the other day: "I promise you when you both are reunited, all of that stuff just fades into the background and serves as a faint reminder that you pushed through all the BS to get to where you are. That's what others told me when we were struggling with all the delays and once Jaycel got here it proved absolutely accurate!" 🙂
  15. November 11th was a Federal Holiday so there would be no action taken on that day
  16. Good deal and anytime! I promise you when you both are reunited, all of that stuff just fades into the background and serves as a faint reminder that you pushed through all the BS to get to where you are. That's what others told me when we were struggling with all the delays and once Jaycel got here it proved absolutely accurate! 🙂
  17. Yes... that's a security check that they will do for any visa application
  18. Also found this... How long does DS 5535 take to process? DS5535 processing can take between 2 weeks to 8+ months. It's a black hole due to the security checks that are sent to various US agencies to verify your profile. Until a positive response is received from each agency, the US embassy will not issue you the visa.
  19. Hep-B is one of the vaccines that get a blanket waiver because there is not time to do both doses. USCIS is supposed to honor that blanket waiver. Personally, I would not pay the hundreds of dollars to go get another medical done unless they issue an RFE for it during your AOS application. They should have your whole medical file, including the vaccine info in your A-File and should not require another one.
  20. It should have been given to you by the medical provider at the completion of your medical exam. Look at all the things they gave you at the medical provider and see if there is a DS-3025 "U.S. Department of State Vaccination Documentation Worksheet".
  21. Well since they issued you basically all the questions from a DS-5535, everything I've seen about those is that they recommend that you do not inquire about your case until 180 days after you submit the response. "How long does DS 5535 take to process? In some cases, it may take several weeks or even months to complete. However, applicants are advised to refrain from inquiring about the status of administrative processing until at least 180 days have passed from the date of the interview or submission of supplemental documents, whichever is later."
  22. They keep it and then forward it to USCIS to add to your A-File. You should have received a DS-3025 "Vaccination Documentation Worksheet" from the Panel Physician who performed your medical exam overseas. You would include a copy of this with your I-485 in order to remind the Adjudicator from USCIS that you had your medical done before visa issuance and to look for it in your A-File.
  23. That sounds like all the questions on a DS-5535... is that what you guys had to fill out or did they just give you the list of questions?
