  1. The way it worked in the Philippines is they generate a receipt notice on the other site with a unique receipt number on it that is tied to your USTravelDocs account. Jaycel then printed it out and took it to the designated bank and paid it in cash. The bank validated her printout and credited the payment to the unique receipt number. After 24 hours, it was then shown as paid on the USTravelDocs site under her account. She then took the bank-validated receipt to the interview to prove she paid the visa fee.
  2. If the USTravelDocs website takes you to another site to pay the fee then you can assume that site is the proper one to pay the fee
  3. Despite what I posted above.... I agree with @SL2024 as I am on the overly-cautious side when it comes to this stuff. I have a very low risk tolerance.
  4. This is from a Google search so take it for what it's worth: Your Employment Authorization Document (EAD) card is not automatically invalidated as a REAL ID when your green card is approved. Your EAD card remains valid until its expiration date, even after you become a green card holder. You can continue to use it for REAL ID purposes, such as for domestic air travel, until it expires. Once it expires, you'll need to rely on your green card (Permanent Resident Card) or other acceptable forms of ID for REAL ID purposes. Here's why: EAD and REAL ID: An EAD card can be used to obtain a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or identification card, as it proves lawful presence in the U.S. REAL ID and Green Card: A green card (Permanent Resident Card) is also an acceptable form of ID for REAL ID purposes. Validity: The EAD card remains valid until its expiration date, regardless of the status change to permanent resident. Future Use: After your EAD expires, you can use your green card as your REAL ID.

  6. Congrats!! 🎉🎉 So happy for you guys!!
  7. We did the two day and yes we paid for signature service
  8. Ok good to know! Thank you and we hope the approval comes quickly!
  9. Manila is known for hardly ever asking for the I-134 & support docs. They never asked Jaycel for the I-134 I prepared for her to take with her to the interview
  10. FedEx to the physical address is our preferred method. Have received text notifications of application acceptance with receipt numbers within a week of delivery both times we made submissions to USCIS via FedEx
  11. Historically in Manila, if the CEAC status says "Approved", it then switches to "Issued" within 1-3 days and then you will get the email notification that it is ready for pickup within a day or two after that.
  12. I had a similar issue to @Crazy Cat the last time but this time I am having no issues. I have been up on the site successfully, no VPN since their post yesterday
  13. Yes ours is July 23rd! Great news and thank you for sharing!! When you handed the sealed I-693, did you explain it was because of the missing Polio vaccine?
  14. Yeah not anymore... with the new administration, pretty much all waivers for marriage based GC applications are now forbidden
  15. Business casual - Good luck and let us know how it goes!
  16. WOW.... that is crazy Not too bad for us. The interview will take place 8 months after filing
  17. Yeah I had no idea and apparently this is kind of a new thing since the new administration's rule change getting rid of most interview waivers. One officer told an applicant that it is their way of trying to streamline the process to help manage the influx of interviews that now need to be done.
  18. I will take the unusual (for me anyway ) position of disagreeing with you on this. As Jaycel's GC interview is coming up in about 3 weeks, we have been reading lots of reports of interview experiences around the web. May folks have been uploading updated evidence to the "Unsolicited Evidence" part of the documents tab in their portal before the interview and in a vast majority of those reports, the applicants report that the ISO thanked them for doing it because it saved them the time and effort of scanning in the documents there at the interview. There are even some field offices sending out an email to applicants a week or so before the interview asking them to upload evidence into the portal before their interview. See below 👇
  19. Jaycel had a 4 hour layover at LAX for her K-1 POE and her flight inbound was delayed by 45 minutes which put her at passport control with 4 other international flights. While her inspection and admission with the officer only took approx. 10 minutes, it took an hour just to get to him. By the time she made it to her terminal for the connecting flight to Denver, she had about 25 minutes before the flight started boarding, so she had time to use the restroom and get a bite to eat and never felt rushed or panicked . Glad you found a flight with the 4 hour layover
