Happy Wednesday 

I had my interview this morning in Denver 
The interview was scheduled at 10:15am and I was called around 10:20am
By 10:40 the officer asked me if I wanted same day oath or wait for the notice. 

Of course I chose same day oath and the next ceremony was at 11am and by 11:20 I was a US citizen.

It took me a while to remember all the questions I was asked :
1. When must all men register for the Selected Service?
2. Who is the Governor of your State?
3. What does the President's cabinet do?
4. What stops one branch of government from becoming too powerful?
5. In what month do we vote for President
6. What is the name of the Vice President of the United States now?
 
My reading was:
A lot of people want to become US citizen. (or something close to it)
 
And my writing was:
Alaska is the largest State. 
and the tablet didn't help it to look pretty 
 
I was surprised that Denver did same day oath but I guess because of the elections they did. Overall a very very quick interview 
Now I need to apply for that passport and then I am done

I was hoping for some news today for my birthday but Denver is not budging sadly 

Just got my interview notice for October 15th. Yay. I filed June 28th. Seattle FO.

Interview went well yesterday (in St. Louis). I received notification that I should be contacted within 30 days with the date and time of oath ceremony! Wishing everyone else a smooth end of this immigration journey as well.

I had to get a new passport last year and it took so long and was costly. 
I hope you get it before your interview. 
Maybe printing out your I-94 just in case will give you some peace of mind

and after logging into mine seeing nothing new I’m also a bit jelly. But I didn’t file until the 27th so there is still hope
