Hello, I would like to share my experience and see if anyone has a similar situation, I had my interview in April 2024, they kept my passport, no 221g, no DS5535, only resume was requested. I have been waiting for more than 3 months with no updates, after I inquired they sent me the regular response stating that “this case is currently pending review by a consular officer”. If anyone can give me some information that would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Ontarkie; I have a similar situation, mine is spousal visa application, interview went good and they kept my passport, no 221g issued, later on the same day, they sent me an email asking to provide my resume. It has been 10 weeks since I submitted it and the status still showing (refused). Do you have any information about the time line that Montreal consulate takes when they ask for resume. Thanks
