  1. Sorry you had to deal with that. I see that happen all over from TikTok and YouTube. Usually in the form of how much additional evidence or some pretty trapper keeper. Plenty of that leaks over here too. Usually with good intent.

  3. It's important to be honest and thorough when providing your address history. Background checks will pull a list of known addresses from various sources, so any omissions or discrepancies could raise red flags. The idea of relying on "most time spent" or "tax resident" is not how USCIS defines residence and could lead to issues. According to USCIS guidelines, “residence” refers to your principal, actual dwelling place in fact, without regard to intent. The duration of your residence in a particular location is measured from the moment you first establish it as your actual dwelling place. So, if you divided your time between multiple addresses, you need to list them all with their respective start and end dates. This ensures your application is accurate and aligns with USCIS requirements. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-129finstr.pdf https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-d-chapter-6

  6. Still waiting for ours. I've gotten weird emails linked to others' profiles saying we're approved. Site is buggy, but a user turned me onto. casestatusext.com seems better once you learn how to look up your block
  7. k1 timeline shifted from Nov to March.. :(

On casestatusext.com you can see which cases are being worked on. They are not longer worked on in order. Someone who submitted their request this month has already been approved while others are waiting in line. It is disheartening. The person working my case number stack is much slower than the person working the next numbered stacks and the previous ones. I don't think the estimations are accurate any longer. They are processing in a way that makes it unpredictable.

  8. Hopefully you haven't sent alot of $$ his way. This doesn't look good.
  9. Birth Certification + Translation is not needed to file the i-129f. I swear, this forum is full of all this additional non-sense.
  10. Thank you both. I have all the documents, service and everything. Should I explain the TPO and additionally point out the lack of crime? What's the best practice here
  11. Looking to go through the K1 process and I'm curious what my best path forward is for: Have you ever been subject to a temporary or perm restraining order: yes/no It was civil and eventually dismissed; I was never found guilty or anything like that. I have the paperwork. I have and understand that selecting Yes is correct here, but my question is should I include any of the documentation?
