  1. Hello Vj family, Is it normal to receive 2 approval notices for AOS? I am just being curious to see if anyone ever had the same experience. My husband's interview was June 3rd and we got an update of the approval on the 4th and we received the letter of approval. About a week later it changed to approval June 13th. At first we thought it was a glitch in the system. We got his Green Card on the 23rd and the second approval letter on the 24th. Now we have 2 approval notices first one dated the 4th, second one dated the 13th. Good luck to everyone else waiting on interview dates and updates. Also a big thanks to this family for all the help, love, and support you show to all. Everything here helps people a great deal and it is much appreciated.
  2. Hello VJ family, After AOS approval, how long does it take for your status to change to card is being produced and when you receive your Green Card?
  3. Sounds great. There should be a list of civil surgeon in your area, you could search that and see which one is close to you.
  4. He completed the vaccine overseas, we just took that copy and he updated the I - 693. If you have any CVS around you, you could do it there and take the result to the civil surgeon to update what she already did.
  5. That was the same thing they said my husband was missing.
  6. My husband's appointment was at 10am and we got there about an hour early. We got checked in 9.30. We didn't get called until past 11. We were both called in and my husband was the one who was sworn in and asked questions. The interviewer was very pleasant. None of the documents we took was checked, the only thing that was checked was the marriage certificate and his birth certificate. When did you get married, where do you live, who's here with you today, when did you get to the states, is this your first marriage. Those were the questions asked. No decision was made yesterday because we got an email earlier that he was missing some vaccines which he completed oversees. We went to a civil surgeon to get another sealed I - 693. The interviewer said she saw nothing outstanding but needed to cross check everything before a decision can be made. We got an email today of his approval.
  7. Hello VJ family, My husband had his interview yesterday and we just got an email of his approval notice. Thanks you you all for the love, support and encouragement. Good luck to those still waiting. All the best to us all throughout the entire journey. Keep hope alive, ne strong and don't give up.
  8. Hello hplusj, I don't want you to lose hope. You have to keep hope alive. You are one of the strongest people i know on this forum. We have very similar timeline and i was hoping you would have had it by now, but you're almost there. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. June is just starting and this could the Jon's birthday gift. You're almost there so be strong. You never can tell the best gift could be an interview waiver.
  9. Thanks, we sure did. Hope your husband gets a date soon. Good luck to us all.
