  1. @PotatoPancake Congrats on submitting to NVC. Shared it with you. Also added your info to the spreadsheet thanks!
  2. Yes of course! I think I just made everyone an editor. If you are not in it, just request editing acces directly in the Google sheet and I'll accept it. Here is the link again: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NnYTWRgdQB9gj2SyQjBL3fzz5-OS9FJZQXFXCbSe0Ig/edit?gid=0#gid=0
  3. @Cryons4time That's a great point! I didn't think about that. Fingers crossed you are right! You are giving us some hope! And thank you for your info. I added to the spreedsheet. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NnYTWRgdQB9gj2SyQjBL3fzz5-OS9FJZQXFXCbSe0Ig/edit?gid=0#gid=0
  4. Hello everyone, Do we have anyone, particularly from Canada (so PD current) or ROW, who was DQ’d in April, May, or June? There isn't anyone on the Google spreadsheet anymore. This info would help everyone to know where we are at. Thank you for letting us know! I created a new copy of the spreadsheet to keep everything organized, as the previous owner is no longer maintaining it and things were out of order. You can request access if you need to make any changes. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NnYTWRgdQB9gj2SyQjBL3fzz5-OS9FJZQXFXCbSe0Ig/edit?gid=0#gid=0
  5. @a7medfx Thanks! Do you mind telling us for the spreadsheet: Country of chargeability Precis Date of DQ: (day + month) Priority Date: (day + month) Fingers crossed there is a new batch of IL soon! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NnYTWRgdQB9gj2SyQjBL3fzz5-OS9FJZQXFXCbSe0Ig/edit?gid=0#gid=0

  7. Omg! Congrats!! You must be so happy! Thank you for letting us know! So ggod to hear that things are moving!
  8. @ACat When I did mine (back in July 2024) it took only 6 business days to be DQ once they received it. Mine was sent by mail as I'm EB-1 (which by mail is supposed to take longer to get DQ). So you know: you will receive your DQ by email. Your lawyer gets the email too. If I were you I would try to contact NVC as this seems very long. Hopefully you've been DQ this whole time and just didn't receveive the email!
  9. @visajournie Congratulations on your visa being issued! Thank you for the details info! Super appreciated!
  10. It's all very stressful. It feels like no IL is happening since March, but they say it does, or perhaps we just don't have the people here who did get IL... 😨
  11. @Anelisse You should be in the next batch! Congrats! We are at DQ end of April 2024 now. We have been receiving IL every months for a while. So you should get your soon!
  12. Anyone else that is not expedite got IL? The website says we are at May!
  13. @Single-spite Personally I would consult an attorney. Particularly with this administration, they are deporting green card holders that had mini problems with the law that were forgiven. I don't know what you stated in your DS-260, but that would be part of it. Perhaps call a couple of immigration attorneys and ask what they think. For a lot of them the first phone call is free.
  14. @a7medfx It's usually not the whole month. You should get your IL the next batch!
  15. @WaitingEB-1AJan23 Congrats! So happy for you and your family! Thank you for sharing in details how it went!
  16. @Canadian K Congratulations! Thank you for letting us know. Was your DQ really 2023 because your PD was not current or is it a typo and it was 2024? Thanks!
  17. Hi @WaitingEB-1AJan23 My cross-border accountant explained that even if you pay taxes in Canada for your job, it doesn't really matter as what you pay in Canada will be taken off in the US side because of the tax treaty. So you end up paying the same as if you were in Canada (so a little more than just the US as Canadian taxes are usually higher). I don't understand his idea of being a US non-tax resident for 2025. You have to be a tax resident of the US when you activate your greencard which will be in 2025 for you? If you check non tax resident of the US it could be seen as abandonning your green card.
  18. @Chris504 Congrats! Thanks for letting us know! Ouf! I thought they skipped this month. So good to hear. I added you to the Google spreadsheet (at the bottom as it's only what I have access to). What's your country of chargeability? Thanks!
  19. @changeloga I don't know about that or how long it would take for the change to take effect at our level, but "The panel physician should identify any past or present conditions that might be a contraindication to, or precaution for, the administration of a vaccine" https://www.cdc.gov/immigrant-refugee-health/hcp/panel-physicians/vaccination.html?CDC_AAref_Val=https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/panel-physicians/vaccinations.html I would contact the office where you will get your medical exam and ask about your personal case if if's a contraindication enough. If so, it seems the panel physician of the medical exam decides to give you a waiver or not. This CDC website gives info on waivers too. This CDC page was taken from the US immigration page: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MTL-Montreal.html#med_exam_instructions Hope this help!
  20. @monk_yatso Added! I'm just able to add at the bottom of the sheet, not in order. But it's there now! It's ordered by the owner once in a while. I'm missing the IL date (I put Jan 31 as it's what others got) and missing which category of EB they are if you know!
  21. Hi @mrclutch31 , yes you are right that as of today you should expect a 1-year wait between the DQ and an interview at the Montreal embassy. Things might change though. On top of that, personally to get to DQ it took me over a year for an EB-1 and I am a well organized individual. Just gathering all the documents and letters were so much work, but I think you can probably do it in 6 months if you are super motivated. Make sure you have lawyers that are quick. I had to wait 5 months on mine to submit what I gave them. For getting a work visa, in the meantime, it really depends on your field. In the arts all my friends get a O-1 first, which also takes about 6-8 months last time I check. You should talk to an immigration lawyer to see your options. First call is usually free. I recommend finding a good one who he's used to working in your specific field as they have to prove your "extraordinarity" in your specific field, which leaves to a lot of interpretations.
  22. Congrats @monk_yatso and @Magnetron_ ! So happy for you!🎉🎉
