    Yeah if I didn't have the wedding (but he is in my close friendship group) then I wouldn't have filed for it and would have filed for an emergency AP if a family member was ill.

    I do like Aldi as well - used to shop there in the UK. I have heard their branded products are really good as well and better quality than Walmart. I love a coupon too haha

    I do want to try a HEB in Texas. My wife's brother lives in Austin so I guess when we visit him next I can go and see one.

    Not a January filer (hopefully will be filing tomorrow) but in terms of that time range from USCIS I wouldn't pay too much attention to that as some sites online say it's between 3-7 months. I am applying for it due to being invited to a friends wedding back in the UK. It definitely is a lot of extra money but I kind of felt that I had to try. Hopefully it won't take that long to receive and I will be able to travel to his wedding later in the year if approved.

    I wouldn't assume that validity of the petition will be extended for up to a year as I think that was certainly the case during Covid but it could have changed now. If the petition expires then you can revalidate the petition at the visa interview by bringing a signed letter of intent from each of you saying that you both will still get married within the 90 days. I did this at my interview and they never said anything to me and it was all ok

    I agree. I'm sure they can send them by email as if you ask at the GP Surgery as you have to fill in a form requesting the information and provide your contact details as well.

    When I requested a copy of my medical records from my GP surgery they told me it would take 30 days to do but I got them about 15-20 days after requesting them. I actually told my mum how long they said it would take and she used to work in GP surgery printing peoples medical records as part of her role and she said it's ridiculous that they give that long a timeframe to do it as you just search for the persons records and press print haha

    Makes sense - I didn't know whether it was possible that was all. I was able to get my Covid vaccine after my medical but before my interview they offered to hold the file as I had 6 weeks between my medical and interview so I could get it done. Once I had provided sufficient proof of vaccine they updated my file and sent it to the embassy.

    Are you not able to contact the place where you got your medical done and ask them about them marking the DS-3025 incorrectly?

    It comes in the mail. I don't think it is shown on the EAD from what I know of

    My DS 3025 was sent to me after my medical by the medical provider in the UK by a secure link from which I could download it. I printed it off as well just in case. So I could check as well if it was marked correctly before travelling to the USA. Did you receive your DS 3025 by email or by post? Have you contacted the medical provider you did your medical with and asked them about the issue of your DS 3025 not being marked as complete? Not sure if they could update their records or not?

    From what I have read I think 6 months is an average amount of time it takes to get the EAD card but from what I have seen recently people have been getting theirs a little bit before that although of course that timeline can change

    Quite easily - you type in SSA and then the name of the branch you are looking for. I did this before to validate that the local office number was correct
