    Not sure why yourself would need to provide anything initially? As she will need to provide her medical history to the doctor when she has the medical. You need to provide proof of the relationship when filing the K1 Visa petition initially.

    My instructions were posted to me. The visa is within the beneficiary's passport if they are approved. In the UK it can be posted to you or collected from the DX Freight Exchange in London. Unfortunately I wouldn't know if this is possible for Gambia.

    Thank you for your recommendation. Would you say a week or 2 weeks is best there? It's interesting because each island looks great in their own way which makes it hard to choose between them haha

    That's very cool that you have a house in the keys. My wife is used to warm weather and would like to go to Disney but I will admit that I am not the best when it comes to heat and humidity haha Thank you for your advice

    I think it depends on what you have planned. I filed for it because I have a close friend who is getting married back home in October so I had to try to do everything I can to be there and hope it will be approved by then otherwise if I didn't have that wedding to attend then I wouldn't have filed for it unless there was a family emergency

    Hi all, Me and my wife are currently in the process of deciding where to go for our honeymoon this summer. So far we have Alaska, Florida (Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Florida Keys), Hawaii (not decided on which island we would want to go to yet) and Wyoming on the list to choose from. Has anyone been to these places for their honeymoon at all? Or have any recommendations that I haven't mentioned? Any advice or recommendations will be greatly appreciated! Hope you can help!

    We filed ours August 2023. It was receipted 2 days after posting but we got the NOA1 about 10 days later after it was receipted. Although at the time of your query there would have been federal holidays which would have resulted in delays. Sorry you haven't received it yet though.

    Contacting the local office was much easier for me than contacting the national number. I was on hold for ages but like you I was on hold between 5-15 minutes when calling the local number

    Glad that you are finally travelling over to Florida next week. I know from a few posts on this forum since I joined and through our discussions on some posts that it has been a very long and difficult process for you.

    I just let the nurse on the day tell me what vaccinations I needed as they will know what is required from looking at your records and the information you provide to them. They were very helpful and answered any questions that I did have.

    It's just so weird that they have everything else but not the vaccination records. Do you have the red booklets (might be the child personal health record) at all? As that has a few vaccinations listed in there that you can provide. Might help reduce the amount of vaccinations you need. I only needed a Tetanus booster and Hepatitis B on the day so was happy to pay for them at the medical and then I got the Covid booster at Boots a couple of weeks later.

    Have you asked them why the vaccinations aren't on there? If so, did they give a reason?

    I printed it out because they scan your paperwork when you check in for your appointment there

    We have 2 each about 10 miles from us and we do enjoy getting some items from there but I do agree with you that sometimes it is hard to get through those items when there is only just 2 of you.

    Yeah I always found Aldi to be ok and even though they were cheaper than most supermarkets in the UK the quality wasn't bad. Usually Aldi and Lidl are very popular especially since the pandemic and when inflation was high. I haven't seen an Aldi since I have been here though. I am hoping to convince my wife for us to go Safeway once I am working. Their banana cream pies are so good!
