  1. Although I did read somewhere that if you file the AOS more than a year after your medical then you have to do a new medical but I'm not sure if that is correct or not? Of course we will be filing the AOS as soon as we can. It isn't something that we want to delay.
  2. I have already had my medical and the vaccinations required. It seems I didn’t word my previous post to that effect looking at it now
  3. I thought it was easier just to get the vaccinations in my country and get everything completed here before travelling over to the USA and getting them done there as I had seen a few posts regarding this and it does seem unfair that they want to charge you for a new medical exam.
  4. Hi, I understand your concern regarding how your relationship is perceived but I don’t think you should let it bother you to the extent that it is. If you love each other then that is the only thing that should matter and you should let that allow you to focus on this petition. I don’t think you are going to be judged for the type of relationship you are in by US officials during the process as there are many people in similar positions that have either been through the process or are going through the process as well. They will be reviewing the evidence you submit, your interview answers, etc. The K1 visa process will challenge you mentally (it did for me and my fiance at times) but it will be ok. Just take one thing at a time.
  5. Mine took about a month from submitting the form around the middle of May 2024 to receiving it around the middle of June 2024.
  6. I haven't been to any yet but have been looking at either Yellowstone or Yosemite
  7. When my fiancee submitted our petition we included a few photos of us together along with a few other bits of evidence. If you look online there should be a few sites that will tell you what sort of things you should provide for your petition.
  8. That's good that it got delivered so soon then!
  9. Hey, thank you for getting back to me and letting me know! That's great that it got delivered 3 days after being shipped. I think I have 2 boxes to ship so I might look at shipping one this month and the other next month so will go on their website and look at quotes for them again. Thank you for recommending them to me as well
  10. It was the same for me as well where one way cost more than return
  11. I suppose you can go to the self service kiosks and try them and then go to the main desk if you need to but I still imagine you will need to wait around until baggage drop opens as it says on Heathrow's website that baggage drop is 3 hours before departure unless you only have hand luggage then you can go straight through to security. I think in terms of reviewing the visa that it will be all ok but I guess you don't really want to be waiting around for 2 hours.
  12. I think the self service check in kiosks are still able to be used there but I think baggage drop opens about 3 hours before departure time so usually I have had to wait around for it to open before going through to security if I have got there early.
  13. Hey, that would be great if you could! Thank you so much! I did look at their reviews earlier and they sounded good.
  14. Actually I just checked and I got a quote of £121 for standard but there is a sale on although I am not shipping my stuff over just yet. I’m interested in hearing about your experience with them and the service you received
  15. Where about in the USA are you shipping them to? Are those prices for door to door? Might have to look at them after work haha When are you shipping them as well?
  16. Haha I think the 3 types of pizza at the one near me in the UK is Margherita, Pepperoni and BBQ Chicken.
  17. Hi, I thought it was today that you were travelling over. Glad you had a safe trip. Thank you for getting back to me and letting me know regarding this as well. Much appreciated!
  18. Apologies I forgot to reply to this. Thank you for the recommendation but think I am going to with either DHL, Fedex or UPS on this as only looking to ship 1 box plus I need my stuff there within a week or 2 and I can't wait for to be delivered in a few months so I think I am ok paying an extra £50 based on the quotes I have got.
  19. Aldi is very good - thats where my family goes for food shopping at the moment. Saves about £20 a shop compared to some of the other supermarkets in the UK. Costco is very good - I do like going and getting one of their 18 inch pizzas haha
  20. Hi, apologies it was just meant as a general post of where people like to shop for food as I already know the ones in the area I am moving to in California but I'm just intrigued to see where others like to shop whether it is a well known chain of supermarkets or smaller chain of supermarkets/independent store. I probably could have explained that a bit better in my OP. My fiancee did say the same as you that shopping is more expensive over there than the UK (she has been shopping with me in the UK as well). I have a feeling we will be going to Walmart for the time being until I start work over there.
  21. Hi, Unfortunately I'm not sure of the answer to your query but I'm sure someone on here will. I did want to ask you though if the Civil Servant Doctor has said you must get the Flu vaccine or whether it is something that you are getting because it is coming up to Flu season? Just asking as I am getting the Flu vaccine through my employer in just over 2 weeks. I had my Covid vaccine a few weeks after my medical where I sent over my proof of vaccination to Visa Medicals and they updated my file before sending over to the embassy. Hope you can help!
  22. My fiancee has Global Entry and she said it is more convenient for her
