But if they return the application again and they’ve overstayed at that point we can still file AOS or would they have to go back home country and file again. I fergot to mention I had filed their i130s online. So I do have a receipt for that but not for the i485. The i485 was fine the first time. They said it was missing signatures… but it wasn’t. So I I’m not sure why they sent it back in the first place.

Hello, my parents came to the us on tourist visa to see my newborn. Since the. They have decided to stay in the USA. So I filled out AOS packet for them and it was sent back for missing page which I resubmitted immediately. And it has been about 3 weeks since Uscis received the resubmited packets. And I have yet to receive any notifications via email or text or mail. And the checks have not been cashed. My parents 6 month tourist visas expire in 1.5 weeks. What should I do?? Should I send them back? But then I what happens if i receive a NOA after they’ve gone back.

But see that’s the thing . Their normal Is block signature which shows in their passport etc.. I had them sign in cursive but if they compare it will be different from other documents.

I dont understand when I look at instructions it says that the signature does not have to be in cursive. So I’m not sure y it got rejected??

Is it okay that the barcode is crossed out? On all the pages ? And could just replace the signature page with a new one and leave everything els as is? Also the i693 opened has the same signature. Should I do the same on that or just leave as is? Thank you for your help. And as I mentioned above I meant no disrespect.

Hello, I had submitted an adjustment of status packet for my parents and it was returned. Reason stated signature and missing page. But looks like the page is there they just moved it to the back because the signature was typed written instead of cursive. But they opened the medical exam i693. And marked a line through the barcode at the bottom of the whole package. And there a plain green page that says if you resubmit the application put this page on top. Do I just change out the signature page and send everything as is with the line stricken through the bar code? Also okay to send the open medical exam? I’m in crunch for time.

Okay I was just wondering cause the site said no fee if filed outside of USA. And fee if filed within USA.. -
I doing paperwork for adjustment of status for my parents, because they have decided to stay in the USA. Is there a fee for the i864? On the website it says no charge if filling outside of USA. States there is fee if filling from USA but not how much. Also says has to filed with department of state? I was going to just mail it with their I485.

Hello, my parents came to the USA on tourist visa3-4 months ago. They have decided to stay in the USA now. I just filed their i130 online and now working on paperwork for the Adjusment of status. But I have a question for the affidavit of support. I’m a house wife and do not work. Me and my husband file joint tax returns. All of his income is from self employment meaning no paychecks. How do I file affidavit of support? Do fill out one for me with 0 income and my husband as joint sponsor? Or do I file mine with our total income because we file joint returns?

I am a us citizen. My parents recently visited me here on visitor visa to see my newborn. They have decided to stay help care for him. How do I go about petitioning for them? They are currently in the USA visiting me . They have visitor visa b1/b2. Do I file i130 and AoS. What all forms do I need to file. And do I send them all in together? I know the i130 is now online. So how do I file Aos and EAD concurrently with i130? Also I’m a home maker so my husband is only source of income and we file joint return. So can I still sponsor them? And do I include the affidavit of support in the initial application or later? Thank you
