  1. @AsercNot yet unfortunately. I do have informed delivery though. Hopefully soon . 🥰
  2. @Aserc Did you receive a tracking number for your GC and did it come in an envelope like the one that the EAD came in?
  3. @Edward and Jaycel Wishing you guys a good interview and a quick approval! 🥰
  4. Wife case on myuscis was updated to approved though the notice states she may be required to do biometrics again
  5. Even me. I hadn't exactly planned on this timing and some of my family already took time off and whatnot and cancelling the tickets would also be a no go. My wife case currently says awaiting decision and as much as I hate to say it I hope it does stay like that for a least a month till we come back lol. We have her EAD and State ID (Real ID ready) and if the card does come I can have someone mail it to me via the fastest USPS as an option.
  6. I was also thinking since I am staying with family on my vacation I was going to ask one of my friends to check my mail while I am gone and if it comes to mail it to one of my family members via USPS Priority Mail Express. He is a good friend of mine so I trust him to be able to check and send for me.
  7. Does anyone have any experience of traveling domestically while your GC was approved but you do not have it yet?
  8. So when we both sat down after being sworn in she had asked if we had any more evidence to give and when I had mentioned about the vaccine she seemed a bit confused even after I mentioned the USCIS page asks for it now. Wasn't given too much trouble she looked over it and scanned it and that was that. Also of note seems like my USCIS office the biometrics and interview are actually on 2 different floors of the building and while the 7 couple who came in the same time as our appointment checked in they didn't seem to follow that order. If I remember correctly the second to last couple to check in went in first and while me and my wife were the 3rd to check in we were the fourth couple to check in. I also remembered so other questions I was asked like how many time had I gone to Philippines, do you plan on living in my state the whole time, has my family met her yet. Thank you! Wife was worried about remember lots of info but in the end it was mostly me asked questions 🤣 As of the time of writing this while she did verbally approve us it still is not reflected in myUSCIS but it hasn't been 24 hours yet so maybe later today. Edited again: so we just checked now it is currently sitting at case decision. 💓
  9. I did receive her SS card from this method but I also am aware they seemed to also stopped processing SS cards this way too from new applicants.
  10. I see. Would save me a trip if my state does this as well but we shall see. Thank you! Hopefully now me and wife can enjoy our vacation now. 🥰
  11. @AsercDid you have to do anything for them to send you a new one? My wife SS card has the same DHS thing on her card so I was unsure if I needed to go to a SSA office to have it removed.
  12. So we arrived at our interview a little bit too early. Security told us to come back no later than 30 mins (we were 7minutes early for 30 minutes 🤣) After going through security we sat down and waited with 7 other couples that also came in the same time as us. After 5 minutes from the appointment time people started being called in. We were the fourth couple to be called in. Had a lady for the interview had us both come in together and after swearing ourself in she asked if we had any paperwork to give and we gave her updated medical paperwork which was looked over and scanned. surprisingly i was asked more questions than my wife 🤣 was asked the year i met my wife. my favorite filipino foods which i said was adobo and ended asking my wife how to make chicken feet adobo cause she wanted to make who introduced me to my wife do i like visiting Philippines we mentioned traveling to new york and she said do be careful with all that is going on do you like where you live is the address on file your physical or mailing address and just some small talk about foods, what we do after work, where we work, etc afterwards she said we are approving your case today just the system is a bit slow today ❤️ Then told us when to apply for removal of conditions and when can apply for citizenship if she wants and that was it. We left maybe a hour after arrival to interview and its done ❤️ just waiting for her case to be updated on myuscis now also of note while awaiting for being called in received and email about case being updated but after logging in nothing had changed. thank you to all for the help and support and wishing all those waiting too a good interviews too 🥰
  13. Interview is in a couple of hours for me and my wife today. ❤️ Will post later how it went.
  14. Thank you @Aserc @Edward and Jaycel. I just need to focus on whats on hand and stay positive. :). We are going this Thursday to pick up and sign her medical paperwork. They called us the other day that we can pick it up so I'm seeing that as a good sign. Then work for a day or two then off to Honolulu to get set for the interview. Will keep everyone updated once it done. 💓
  15. About a week more to go before interview. Hopfully I got everything I needed and it all goes well. Now even I am getting a bit stressed. 😵‍💫
