  1. Wishing everything goes well and quickly for you guys. 😊
  2. My wife didn’t even get a notification that they received her cases till like 3 weeks later (3 business weeks since they no count weekends and federal holidays) and the letters with her case numbers showed up a little bit later. Every lockbox is different so just gotta hold out.
  3. @agsw I had 2 IOE cases. One for her I-485 and one for her I-765. It also shows up as a concurrent filing for them on MyUSCIS. My wife also received around the same number of emails. My wife I-765 approval was so quick due to us living in Hawaii and I would assume they just do mostly Hawaii so they have a lower case load compared to some of the other service centers.
  4. I did put the required colored paper on top of my refiling as requested but unfortunately I can't say if you can put the same paperwork with the scan bars on the bottom because when USCIS sent back my paperwork the big enveloped was heavily damaged and most of my paperwork had a good amount of water damage to it so I had to reprint and refill out everything. Luckily they put the returned checks and the required photos back inside the small zip-lock back that I sent them in. They only papers that I did sent back was the color paper as required and the NOA's that were sent with it damaged as they were. Personally for me. I just redid everything I even used the new forms just to be sure. But also I believe they did ask me to use the news ones too in my refiling so I had to reprint everything anyhow. But after that everything went smooth from there. 😊 Just to let everyone know though I'm sure I stated it mine was sent back though due to actually not sending the first page of the I-485 not because I filed out the forms wrong. I was slightly rushing and did overthink filling out all the forms hence why I probably forgot to put the first page in my first filing lol.
  5. Awesome to hear. 😊 For your friend that must of been around 6 months for her which is not bad. Do you happen to know if she had to do an interview prior to her I-485 approval?
  6. Thank you! Glad it went quickly and wife is happy too. 😊 Now we await the I-485 hopefully doesn’t take too long. 😇 Also anyone who’s done the I-765 how long did it take you from approval to receive your EAD and SS card?
  7. Update today. After doing her biometrics yesterday her case for I-765 was approved today. 😊 awaiting notice and her cards now.
  8. I see. Might be it. Least it’s not something more serious and a relatively easy fix to do. Don’t stress too much. The first time I filed and it got sent back I forgot to give the first page of the I-485 filing lol.
  9. @ScarletWitch6x Did you send them a copy of your visa in your passport? I also sent the NOA2 but also a copy of my wife visa that was given to her in her passport.
  10. Biometrics appointment attended today. Quick and no problems. They let us do it early since nobody else was there. Now to wait on updates to the cases. 🥰
  11. @Edward and Jaycel For the return shipping I not sure I understand. Should I buy another envelope and buy stamps and put my address on it and put it inside the envelope that I will be sending to them? Currently what my nearby consulate requirements for ROM:
  12. Was the same for me. Was like 3 weeks of waiting for me but don't forget too that they don't count weekends and any holidays as working days so in reality for me it was exactly 14 days for a response from them so like "2 weeks" for them. 🤣
  13. Congrats! 😊 Glad to hear everything going good so far with your cases.
  14. Should be fine though I've seen online some people who used CC's to pay their fees sometimes their CC company fraud protections flagged the payment as suspicious I guess due to it being such a large amount. Though I believe USCIS will try 2 times before rejecting the cases. Perhaps you can call your CC company to let them know you have a large amount going tto be charged by USCIS?
  15. I did checks also but my wife (beneficiary) name was no where on the checks. I also signed the checks too. She doesn't have a bank account currently either. Though IDK if it had anything to do with it but the sections where it stated who filled out the forms I did say I did them for her and I did make sure the address on the checks were the same as my mailing address.
