  1. @AsercHaven't received any notification nor were my checks cashed. Also checked my post office in case they sent anything back but they did not. I tried to ASK Emma on site but was told via a live agent it can take up to 30 business days (6 days so far at the time of writing) before anything happens. Though this is the second time I had to send in the forms because I forgot to put 1 paper and and it was sent back and I was asked to put a paper from them about refiling and make sure to put it on top so perhaps that's what may be causing a slight delay in my update for my filing? On the 1 hand I'm glad nothing got sent back this time for now, but now just the waiting without knowing any updates is stressing me lol.
  2. @Aserc If you filed your paperwork and paid the fees via check did they already cash the check?
  3. I see. Unfortunately me and my wife did not receive any text from USCIS that they received it. Hopefully everything goes well for you and hopefully I will hear something soon for my AOS for the wife.
  4. When did you receive your text? I actually have not received any text yet.
  5. Sent my AOS for my wife on Jan 3 2025 and arrived on Jan 11 2025 at the Phoenix Lockbox via USPS (Had to sent again due to a missing paper :(. ). Still no response or cashed check yet. (Only been 5 business days at the time of writing) Was a little stressed because the first time I sent it was only 5 days before they sent it back but USPS making me stress because the first AOS that was sent was delivered at 85036 but my fixed AOS was delivered at 85034. Hoping that isn't an issue. I know they have 30 business days to respond but hoping for the best. I did fill out the paperwork for them to email or text with notifications but I also heard even if you fill it out sometimes they don't do it anyhow.
  6. Outside the arrival area. Since you cannot go in the baggage area to meet people.
  7. I live in Hawaii too. Had my fiancee (now wife) arrive this October. I went to Honolulu and meet her outside after arrival. If I remember correctly it was a bit over an hour from disembarking from the plane, going through customs, and meeting her outside. After we took another plane to get to my island and since then everything has been good.
  8. Hello, I just saw how to check other timelines so i was looking at some of them. I did update my timeline with most of the proper dates for relevant paperwork. Doesn't look too bad but again I am aware all timelines can be different for a few reasons. Thank you to all that replied.
  9. Hello all, I recently married my fiancee (now wife) after her arrival in the US with her K1 visa and just sent all the paperwork (I-486, I-765, and I-864) that I should need today. Not too worried as I am 99% sure I filled everything out correctly and sent the evidence and payments that were needed. I wanted to send everything out before the 90 days and was just wondering peoples experiences with next step with this process. I had to send mine to the Phoenix Lockbox so if anyone had to send theirs there would greatly appreciate it. I did send it via USPS priority express (just to make sure it got there) and since its the holiday season I don't expect too much on the beginning of my processing. Just wanted to see people good and bad experiences and time frames for everyone. Thank you to everyone who replies. Matt
  10. Hello all, Recently had my fiancee K1 visa approved and she will be coming here to the USA next month. I just had some questions on the process and filing of all related paperwork. What forms should I file and in what order so that she is able to legal stay and would be able to work as soon as she is legally allowed to? I am aware of the forms I-130 and I-485 but I wanted to make sure I am correctly filling them within the correct time frames and in the proper order. Also how are the fees for filing? Appreciate all advice and help from everyone. Thank you, Matt
  11. Hello all. Trying to buy a ticket for my fiancee now. Using Philippines airlines and they asking in the part of Visa document: Government that issued the document. Would that be the US or Philippines? Has a drop down option so the only 2 logical ones would be either US or Philippines. Also is there any other fees or costs besides the usually getting foods and drinks and such at the airport? She will be flying out of Manila. Thank you to all.
  12. My fiancée had her interview on August 27. I am happy to say her interview was a success and now getting ready to have her arrive in the US for our future togther. 😊
  13. Quick question everyone. When or if did you fill out a I-134 form?
  14. So we scheduled the medical on July 17th. I will actually be visiting her next week so hopeful her medical goes well. 😊
  15. Can you schedule the medical earlier than 2 weeks or it has to be 2 weeks? Also probably not the right place to ask this question but I'm actually taking a vacation next week to see my fi·an·cée :). Just trying to budget out my trip I will be staying in Manila with her and I will be meeting some of her family while I am there. Flight and lodging are already taken care of but just trying to figure out how much to bring while I am there.
