Guys we have ordered the police certificate May 6 and our interview is June 18. We don't have it yet . We don't want to cancel the interview because there are no appointments available.

It's required that a beneficiary provide a police clearance letter from not only her home country but also any country she has resided for six months or more.

I don't disagree with the common sense of this position- just looking for receipts, i.e. some primary authority that says so.

A reasonable position on its face, but what authority do you have that says its not 182.5 months? If it was 180 days the year would be 12 months, 5 days. Its not mathing. Half of 365 is 182.5.

Beneficiary spent exactly 181.4 days down to the hour according to flight records in another country, which included the month of February. Who here thinks this is 6 months, legally? Clearly, half of 365 days is 182.5. But 30 days x 6 month is 180. It matters as to necessity of getting police certificate.

Everything is done including medical the only thing remaining is the police certificate which we will not have on June 18 interview date.

We have our interview scheduled June 18, 2024. We have everything but a foreign police cetificat requested May 6, 2024. It take 2-3 months to receive it and we were hoping to get it early, but as of today June 13, 2024 we do not have it. We went to reshedule but no appointments are available. How ill-advised is it to attend the June 18 interview without the police certificate knowing it will be a 221g refusal and we might not get the cetificate for annothe 4-6 weeks?
