They said this is new we wont do interviews immediately, and they opened an interview slot for me on ustraveldocs and i already booked my interview appointment after 2 months

Hello, i went to the embassy for my appointment they took my papers and said no interview today and that i have to schedule for an interview is that how it is for k1 visa?

Hi my appointment for k1 was on 6/6 they took my papers and said i have to schedule another appointment for interview, is that normal? Interview appointment after 2 months

However because of what’s happening in Isreal/Palestine it looks like the Beirut embassy is only processing limited “immigrant visas”. I tried emailing them to see if the K1 is within that category or not. Does this mean I need to transfer my case? I am not sure what to do? Why would NVC assign my case there if they are only processing limited visas.
