  1. I am american and she has recently become my fiancé and my parents are of ill health and we would like to return to the usa. The K1 visa is the one out of all the research we did, all on the sites you mentioned, that was the most suitable for our situation. The unique part of it is that I live in the UK and not the US. I have done further research on this step, and believe a sponsor from my parents, along with proofs of savings and assets go towards, if no US based income. Just cannot seem to find what amount of savings or assets are required.
  2. I wasn't aware of needing a joint sponsor or sponsor from someone else with me being American. I last lived in the USA 5 years ago and that is when I last did my taxes. I also lived and worked in the US 12 years ago and taxes were all done then as well. We were guided down this visa route as per recommendation. Any advice appreciated
  3. Hello, I am a US citizen, and have lived in the UK for most of my life. I have a US passport, and a visa to live here in the UK. Me and my fiancé submitted form i129f to start the k1 visa application process. We are both aiming to move to the USA to be with my parents who are not well. Regarding financial support, I am worried about myself as the US citizen sponsor, that I do not live in the US currently. Am I required to complete form i134 for my fiancé to take to her interview? Or is that for other visa types? Do they take savings into account? How much savings would be needed? Or would my parents need to co sponsor? Really worried about this, so any advice is appreciated. Thanks
