and just as I was reading this post, they sent me a tracking number by email and updated the "status" section on the ais.usvisa-info.com website with the tracking number as well. The Current Status still says "Appointment" though lol

I was issued a visa (July 17) on the DS-260 CEAC website! The appointment site still says “Appointment” but the CEAC site says my passport will be shipped to me within 10 business days. It’s 4 business days so far.

Thank you for letting me know of some of the other factors that could delay the process. good thing I didn’t plan any out of country trips during the summer

I interview at Montreal on June 11 but have not received any update to status. I was verbally approved by interviewer. Passport was kept and was stated I would get it back in 10 business days. On CEAC, it still states “Appointment” and my updated DS260 says my file was updated on June 17. But nothing new other the verbiage of setting up an interview time etc etc anyone in the same boat for waiting for their passports/status change?
