How do I calculate annual income if overtime varies weekly depending on workload? Husband works 40 hours per week minimum but his overtime can vary from 12-38 hours weekly. Should I calculate an average overtime amount based on previous weeks and add it to the base pay? If so, what’s the best way to calculate it accurately?

Hi everyone, My husband (sponsor) started working in June 2024, and his most recent paystub shows a YTD income of $39,731. His weekly earnings, including overtime, average around $1,655. Should I use his projected annual income ($86,060) in the I-864 form, or stick with the Paystubs's YTD amount since it resets in December?

Hello everyone, I have my K-1 visa interview soon in Montreal Canada, and I'm concerned about my co-sponsor's past business losses affecting our approval. He earned 37k in wages/w2s, but lost 23k from business income. He now has stable employment at a dealership and a current salary of $54,860 per year (household of 3) which I will be able to show employment verification and pay stubs. He also no longer owns that business and is not subject to further losses from it. How much weight does the consular officer typically give to past financial history versus current income?
