  1. Oath ceremony completed today - naturalization certificate in hand. Applying for expedited passport tomorrow. Ceremony itself very underwhelming, two videos and Oath of Allegiance. When they read countries we come from she said Siberia instead of Serbia for mine lol. Other than that very straightforward and super short - got there at 11:30 it started at 12:00 we were in front of the building at 12:12.
  2. Did anyone have an oath ceremony in Baltimore office? Just wondering about the logistics, how many guests, how long does it last.. etc. ?
  3. Thank you. Yeah they aren’t really hard. Just a lot to remember but it feels so good to be on the other side. Good luck to everyone!
  4. Oh yes civics questions too but I studied that part so it wasn’t hard. Those are the questions we know they’ll ask us - I have always been worried more about the ones we don’t know about our lives so I figured I’ll share those. Civics questions were: when is Independence Day, who can vote, what is one responsibility of US citizens, what did Declaration of Independence do, who is current vice president and what is the political party of current president. Also she asked to read Who was Abraham Lincoln and to write Lincoln was a president during the Civil War. That was it ☺️
  5. Personal update: had my interview today and I passed. Was asked the most basic information about myself - name birthday country of birth and most basic information about my spouse - name birthday and marriage anniversary. Wasn’t asked anything about the travels, work history, marriage... After that officer asked me literally 3 yes and no questions and gave me a paper that said a decision cannot be made at this time. By the time I came home my online account was updated twice - application recommended for approval and oath will be scheduled. When I got home I started crying because it just feels so unreal to be able to say I am almost done after long 7 years of this immigration journey. Good luck to everyone!
  6. Can you tell me what questions did they ask you about your marriage please? Thank you
  7. Hey guys, I am new here but not new to the immigration process. Believe it or not I have read all 40 pages of this topic 🫢 I got my conditional green card through marriage in 2019 (with an interview), applied for removal of conditions (I751) in April 2021. and got approval in January of this year (without an interview) and applied for my N400 (5 year rule) on 2/28. I received my interview notice which will be on 6/25. So I am curious to know how much are they going to focus on the I751? I had a strong case hence no interview approval but I’m curious to know how does it usually go. Tanks for any insightful information.
