Hey there, I am 23 and currently live in Canada. My partner is the American fiancé, he makes well over the federal poverty requirement needed to sponsor me. I am thinking of applying for welfare as I moved to a small town with my family and it's been very hard to find a job, so I wanted to apply for Welfare while I job search just to pay for food and bills. I just don't want it to impact my chances of immigration, I have 5 years of work experience and I've never had an issue getting a job anywhere else I've lived.
