Same thing happened to my wife's case for H4

My wife's H4 visa also has same issue. They returned the passport with green slip after 45 days and since then no updates. I know the poor documentation but this is terrible. I pray no one has to endure this. I live in Seattle too, is there an AP support group?

Do you know if green slip is after? And how is it different than the white slip?

They didn't ask for anything. Is it bad to start congressional inquiry before 120 days? And is it 120 days from the interview or when we got passport baclk?

Dang, I am sorry man. Yeah, if they were going to send us back the passport then they should have done it sooner. Doing it after 2 months makes no sense. Will it help if I ask some congressman to write to embassy?

Got the passport back after 50 days with green slip of AP. Does anyone know ifthe green slip takes shorter time to process? Visa type is H4

It is Karachi embassy and it is for my wife. I just hope it is sooner. It is hard (as most people here know) It went into AP after interview. Interviewer told us that it was approved. Later when I emailed them they told me that it was in AP. CEAC still shows approved and I emailed to ask why 2 weeks ago and no response.

Is AP with no DS5535 faster than AP with DS5535?

My wife's interviewer for H4 told her that visa is approved. When we didn't receive the passport, we emailed and we were told that case is in AP. So, we didn't receive the 221(G). Case status on CEAC still shows approved and received no questionnaire. Been 5 weeks. Any idea if this is normal AP or longer AP?

Our because her case depends on mine. Yes I have my H1-B last year and it will expire in October, that is why I didn't go for interview I see cases but not many for H4. Will it be exactly like other administative processing cases or some how different? For example, they haven't told us which documents to provide, and case officer had told her that interview is clear

2 weeks would be awesome. But I have heard cases like 4 months and one unfortunate one for 8 months. Do you have any refernce?

No they didn't. It happened after I emailed them when we didn't get the passport in 10 days. How long is the current AP taking and I am the male lol

Visa Officer told my wife that visa is approved on the 13th of May. We didn't get the passport for 10 days and I emailed them. They told me that our case is in administrative processing(last Friday 24th of May). However, the CEAC website still shows that the visa is approved. I am not sure what it means. How is Administrative processing taking in Pakistan, specifically Karachi Will the Embassy ask us for more information or we supposed to contact them on our own Should I contact the Embassy regularly or not? If anyone else is in the same boat, please reach out to me
