  1. Yes. The status changed last Thursday and since then the case last updated date has changed Monday and then again today but status still shows Ready.
  2. My husband's visa status has updated from Refused to Ready last week but no further update since. It mentions preparing for interview but he already did the interview a little over 2 months ago where he was given 221g for court document that we submitted 3 days after interview. Does the 'Ready' status mean anything or just another way of saying administrative processing? The embassy kept his passport at the interview.
  3. Yes. We indicated being arrested before and that the charges were dropped and the charges were related to illegal possession of a weapon. Also will be getting the court documents that show and state the same.
  4. I had a tourist visa some years back where the DS-160 was filled out by an agency. I had an old arrest where the charges were dropped and the arrest expunged and the agent told me I didn't have to declare so they didn't. Fast forward years later I met my wife and we got married and decided to file for the CR-1 visa for me. My wife completed the DS-260 on my behalf and after doing research we realized that I needed to declare the arrest no matter what and did just that, but I'm worried how this may affect my CR-1 application. Was never asked any questions during my tourist visa interview about ever being arrested but intend to be truthful if they ask about it at our upcoming interview. Will this possibly be a problem?
