Visa in hand. Fiance is planning to cross by air travel in Montréal on Saturday the 18th. Good luck to everyone on their visa journey. This process is difficult and painful and my best wishes go out to anyone still waiting. I hope wait times just get shorter and shorter.

We went from "Approved" to "Issued" today and we got a tracking number too. Seems like they're really pushing through these last couple of days ❤️

It just changed to "Approved" this afternoon 🥳 Not issued yet but happy to see an approval after all this time.

Maybe silly question, but what does AP mean? When we say AP is complete and visa is ready to be issued? Administrative Processing? We redid the medical in December on the 6th. Got an email from the medical office that they sent it in on the 13th and the case updated on December 20th. We got another update on December 27th where the status changed to Administrative Processing. That's our last update so just waiting. Would this mean our AP is not complete? Somewhere I read that for many people it updates from Refused to Administrative Processing to Issued so I wasn't worried about it. I do wish there was more predictability in this whole thing. Fingers crossed he gets issue before the new administration takes over. I'm nervous.

On Friday our status changed from Refused to Application Received (new medical was done 12/6 and they sent out on 12/13) so hoping for good news this next week. Hope to see everyone get their visas soon!

I've had 8 updates since our interview. Last one on the 21st on October. I see that the spreadsheet is looking a lot more green these days so fingers crossed for all of us I have a friend who lives by the border and crosses somewhat frequently. Last time she spoke to border agents they said they're trying to push through as many cases as possible before the next election. I hope that means good news for all of us very soon

We got a random update yesterday it turns out. The first random one since June. Our interview was back in May. They already have his passport so they shouldn't need a new medical or police interview if this gets processed soon. Fingers crossed but trying not to get my hopes up too much just yet.

I'm having a hard time locating the spreadsheet. I had it saved on my phone but cannot locate the sheet so i think perhaps my child deleted the note or something. Can someone help me with the link?

I just looked up who the Congressman was for my area and wrote an email. An intern replied after 5 days.

Utah in Utah County which is the reddest red that ever did red. I wonder if it's because it's an election year. 😅

I wrote to my Republican Congressman despite the odds and shockingly got a reply today that they would be happy to contact them on our behalf. They sent me a form to fill out and send back. I don't know if that will actually help move things along, I know others have not had success with it, but I don't think it will hurt.

Has anyone had success with writing a Republican congessman for help? That's all we have in my state. Should I even bother?

No Did you file a WOM? No My last Update was June 10 2024 and it's the 3rd one I know about.

Hey guys. New to the club that none of us want to be in We got DS-5535d on May 3, I thought it was going to be a quick turnaround and recently learned it won't be. Very sad and hope they get their ####### together soon 😭😭
