    @pushbrk I need one more advise, please. I need to book my biometrics, should I book that as IR-1 visa class (as that is what it should be now) or should I book it as CR-1 (the one that is still mentioned in CEAC/NVC portal)? Appreciate your help!

    By law I know IR-1 is what it is. Why I am asking is because I am concerned about some clerical mistake which might be causing this. I-90 is free but has a long wait times. And you know if something happens for 9 folks but not for the 10th one, the 10th one will naturally get concerned

    My 2nd wedding anniversary was on 07 September 2024 but my CEAC portal still shows visa class as CR1. When did it change for you from CR1 to IR1 for you guys in CEAC portal? Should I contact NVC? Thank you in advance for the guidance fellas!

    Welcome! I agree with @Eberechi as well. While you are waiting for the call, I would say make the corrections in the i-130 form and write a letter (MS Word) explaining the mistake. When you receive the call, hopefully Tier 2 agent should be able to correct it, but they might asked for the corrected form. So while you are waiting for the call, re-fill the form to be on safe side. What I have seen is that once you submit the RFE, they approve within 2-3 days usually

    Do not even worry about the estimate time you see in the account. It fluctuates a lot. For some people it was still showing 10 months when they were approved. Based on your PD, you should be approved in 1-2 weeks max

    Hi there! I just came online to tell that my status now shows the case has been sent to DoS. No WL yet though, maybe due to the weekend. Hopefully something this week. How about you? After how many days it was sent to NVC after i-130 approval?

    Sorry to hear that buddy. I would say request USCIS to have a Tier 2 office call you. See if that officer might be able to rectify this issue. It will be all well

    You are right. I am seeing the same trend for many in 2024 on reddit. Right now your case status might be saying approved and then in 2-3 days it will change to sent to NVC. After that you can expect within a week. By the way, does your approval notice say "we have sent the petition to the U.S. Department of State National Visa Center (NVC)"? You are next it the queue. Soon!
