Hi,
My niece is applying for a student visa to study in the USA. I am a current green card holder. Her parents are agriculturists and do not have enough funds in the bank to show proof of funds. She however has enough money to pay for the university and visa fees. She will be living with a relative here in the USA when she arrives, so her expenses are much lower than what is needed to apply for the visa.
My question is; can I get a loan preapproval letter from a bank, here in USA to help her go through the visa process in India?
