  1. How do you know if your case was transferred? We just have the first NOA letter as an attachment which reads Nebraska. Is the transfer posted elsewhere in MYUSCIS or on another site?
  2. But I think if you look at all previous months, the unapproved 25-30% range remains for a very long time. It’s my understanding that that percentage is for cases which are more complex, i.e., by people petitioning for additional dependents, from field offices and so forth, but that straightforward cases are generally approved within 15 months.
  3. Perhaps the petition for your additional child is cause for delay? From what I can tell on this forum, it seems they’re up to around August 29th today. August 4th petitions were processed a few weeks ago. If I were you, I think I would consider reaching out for help at this point. Does anyone know if there’s a number to call if a petition seems to be stagnant, or if there are attorneys who might be able to help with GMF’s situation?
  4. We’re August 30th and still no news. Has anyone here past August 15th been approved?
  5. Congratulations mid-August people! Thank you for letting us know! To GMF3000, I'm sorry your application is still pending when others around you have been approved. Please keep us posted. Positive thoughts coming your way!
  6. MyProgress tab is back again tonight. The date went from 12 months to 4.
  7. My "progress" tab disappeared, too. Maybe they're just doing away with that section? Or maybe it means something!
  8. If you were approved this week, will you share your dates with us? Wondering which days were approved this week. Last week they seemed to be at about August 10th, so hoping they moved to at least August 17th this week?
  9. It seems like they got to about August 9th last Friday, and now August 11th today? Has anyone later in August been approved? We're August 30th, crickets for us.
  10. Congratulations, E! That's such great news! Hoping for a quick approval coming for you this week!
  11. I'm seeing the same thing on TMV...nothing done since last Friday, the 11th. Let's hope this is some sort of glitch and not really true.
  12. Thanks for the encouragement, E. Our standalone i-130 estimated approval date vacillates somewhat, too, but this December 12th date was a bit of a shock after, "any day now" last week. Did anyone else get an estimated date in December?
  13. Just received my weekly estimate and it went from "any day now" last week to "December 12th", which would be sixteen months for processing. Did anyone else get this upsetting estimation today? Hoping this was some sort of error.
  14. OP, thanks so much for this thread. I guess we can just chalk it up to your and your wife's application being in the right place at the right time. We'll probably never know why your processing was so amazingly quick, but thank you for empathizing with the rest of us. Sander, thanks so much for your thoughts, too. Your explanation makes sense. On Sunday I received VisaJourney's weekly timeframe estimate and it did say, "Any day now" which was thrilling given the last estimate of November, if I'm remembering correctly. Hopefully this turns out to be true for we August filers still waiting on the edge of our seats.
  15. I’ve read various official and legal websites and I’m still confused on the documents I, as the petitioner, need to provide after after our i-130 is approved (the NVC segment). From what i can tell, only my passport and financial docs that support the i-864 are required. Is that the case? I know the beneficiary (my spouse) has to supply his docs (birth certificate, police, marriage/divorce docs, etc.), but is it true all we petitioners need is our passport and financial docs (tax return and other finanical docs for the i-864)? Or if we petitioners need marriage/divorce docs, will you include a reference/link in your response? Thank you!
  16. The 60% observation above is very helpful! Besides being lucky people, I always wonder who the ~33% approved are months ahead of the remaining 66% in the agonizing now 13+ months wait. Or maybe I’m reading the charts incorrectly?
  17. Receipt date of 30 August 2023 and no action taken at all since then. Just the “your case is taking longer than expected” message. I filed online and our case is at the Texas Service Center. I’m a USC and spouse is a citizen of Serbia.
