Hello,
Has anyone applied Visa recently from Finland? i just came across that k1 visa interviews will take place in Sweden? I found this article and am i correct that the interviews will take place in Sweden?
Does anyone know has Stockholm lot of backlog etc? We received our NOA2 around a week ago, now waiting it to transfer.
Kinda suprised they just recently changed this. If anyone has information how the things work in Embassy in Sweden? Do they send packet, how to book appointment etc, i would be more than happy to hear it, since i have only searched how they handle things in Finland embassy. Nice to know things in advance thank you!
The U.S. Embassy in Helsinki, Finland will no longer offer routine immigrant visa services, as of December 2, 2024. The U.S. Department of State has designated the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden, as the processing location for immigrant (immediate relative and family preference), fiancée/fiancé(K), V92/V93 (follow to join asylees/refugees), and Diversity Visa (DV) applications for residents of Finland. For more information, visit the following website. Individuals who were already interviewed at the U.S. Embassy in Helsinki will have their case processed to completion in Finland.
