Thank you J and I. I have been in the relationship for 4 months. I met her in person a couple of weeks ago. That is short, but I don't think it is too short. We talk almost every day. and text a lot.

The more I think about it, I think that they are not very related. The Danes are going to have different criteria than the US. There is a lot of posts I found about visiting each other on a visitor visa in their current country. But I hadn't found one about meeting somewhere else. Maybe because it doesn't really matter.

I have a hard time getting time off from work, and have other commitments at home as well. I just got back from the Philippines and don't forsee another trip there until January. Or maybe September if Denmark doesn't work out. When I was looking into marriage in the Philippines, it said you should plan on at least two weeks. Which would be difficult for me. So as people have said the spousal visa is faster and cheaper, but I can get the K1 started now.

I am just getting ready to start my K1 Application. and I am in research mode. I met my Fiancée in the Philippines a couple of weeks ago. And we are taking about meeting up in Denmark, since I have family that have already been planning a trip there and can go along. We are thinking that might be easier than the US. We have been told by multiple people that once you have a boy friend or Fiancé, it is pretty much impossible to get a tourist visa to the US, from the Philippines. Anyway we are looking into what is called a Schegen Visa to Denmark. My question is how would officials view this? If I apply for the Fiancée visa first, would that send any red flags? I also know that they want people to be honest. But my Fiancee is worried because she tried to get a tourist visa to the US before when she was trying to visit her a different Boyfriend and was turned down. Should she disclose who she is going to visit?
