  1. It seems it is based on the panel of physicians (https://www.drgulzarcheema.com/index-3.html) For example, for Varicella (Chicken Pox), if you had the disease, then no vaccine is needed. Just provide the year when you had Chicken Pox (no immunity test is required).
  2. What does this mean? If we received three doses, but it was three years ago, do we still need to get another one? As of April 21, 2023, a single dose of Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent meets the vaccine requirement of these Technical Instructions for applicants 6 years old or older and a single dose of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent meets the requirements for applicants 5 years old or older. Although the monovalent Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines are no longer authorized for use in the United States, these vaccines are still approved under these Technical Instructions because they are listed for emergency use by the World Health Organization and continue to require 2 or 3 doses (depending on age) to complete the requirement.
  3. Hello, For the medical test, do we need to provide Varicella vaccination records, or is it sufficient to provide the date when we had chickenpox? Do I need any blood tests to confirm immunity?
  4. What can we do in this situation? My life is getting harder day by day. I do not have a stable job, and my wife is getting sick. To be honest, they have destroyed my life due to a lack of responsibility. We must be treated like others in similar situations (current, DQ, etc.) all around the world. I'm feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to turn.
  5. Hi Everyone, I don't quite understand the Montreal strategy and plan (most likely, no one does). The process has been very frustrating, disappointing, and unclear. I don't understand why two people in the same situation are treated differently—one person is in the US, while the other is still waiting with no hope or estimation. These two people should be treated the same way. If they send out invitation letters for interviews only once or twice a year, how many years should we expect to wait? Let's analyze the best and worst-case scenarios and determine a formula to give us at least the worst-case scenario (though I know this may not be possible given Montreal's behavior).
  6. ChatGPT They worked hard last month and need to rest for a few months (maybe a year).
  7. Thanks @Froozion. Do you or someone else know the best way to check the status of the application? Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC)?
  8. What exactly does this mean? Applicants that are not resident in Canada can anticipate a wait time of approximately 600 calendar days for an appointment. Ref: https://ca.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulates/consular-operations-updates/
  9. You will receive this email at the beginning of the month that you become current.
  10. Are you current? As I know the final action date for the third category is 22NOV22.
