  1. For those who have crossed the border or done the initial entry process, is there a way to track the delivery of the printed green card or the SSNs? How can I know how much time it can take?
  2. I dont think they allow. Only those on the application are allowed.
  3. When they said completed August 2023 on the website, I had not even received my IL and my DQ date was 2nd Aug. So I believe if they issued even 1 letter for the month, they update the website to that month. I got my IL in the next round after the month was updated to Aug. Hope this helps

  5. Hi I shared my experience already. If you click on my profile, you will be able to find it in the previous 2-3 pages. Let me see if I can link it here.
  6. Yes it did change to Issued and also I got a separate email with tracking number. Once it was delivered at the Canada Post PO, I got a notification from Canada Post also that it is available for pickup.
  7. I got my passport yesterday. It took them only 3 days to send the passports after the interview. This was very quick - I was not expecting that. Picked up the passport in the afternoon and drove to the land border at Niagara at night. Activated the green card and drove back into Canada. The activation/first entry process was very straightforward. Officer was really nice, polite and helpful. He explained that I could use the endorsement on the Immigrant Visa for multiple entry exit till I receive the green card in mail. Overall it took 45 mins at the land border. Happy to answer any questions.
  8. Congratulations. So happy for you! You have been very helpful and responsive on this forum. All the best for the future!
  9. @JBG123 - how did the border crossing go? anything to keep in mind.
  10. My letter had the first set of bullet points you mentioned. Did not include worksite or job duties. It was accepted. Let us know how it goes. All the best
  11. Any experiences of border crossing to activate the green card? How much time does it usually take? How much time should we account for? I am planning to go to the Niagara border and do the process once I get my passports and come back to Canada to wrap up stuff here. I believe you get a stamp for 1 yr on the passport to exit /enter multiple times till you get the green card? Can someone confirm. Anything else I should keep in mind for the border process?
  12. Mostly around the background and where will you be staying in the US. Everything was in the petition already.
  13. Thanks to all the forum members for their inputs and support throughout this journey.
  14. Hi Forum Members, Got approved yesterday. Same experience as others on the forum. You reach there on time, go through security - dont be too early as you will have to wait outside may be 5-10mins before your interview time. Once you are through the security, they send you to the first floor - give u a yellow laminated card with documents to keep ready( those who need the employment letter, keep that ready also though it is not listed on the yellow card). They also give u a number - keep an eye on the screens so you know which window you are being called to. Window 1 - original document check. Window 2- Fingerprints Window 3 - Interview with Consular Officer. Everyone was nice and helpful - no need to be nervous. Just one tip - carry all your passports that ever had a US visa issued on them. They may want to check them. Overall took 2 hrs for the whole process in and out. Happy to answer any questions.
  15. It has to be an original - signed in ink and on company letterhead.
  16. Has anyone else checked their CEAC account this morning. My visa category seems to have changed after the maintenance activity that was done this weekend. Should I be worried? My interview is tomorrow and the visa category on the top right section of CEAC account shows a different category now. It was fine before the maintenance activity.
  17. Congrats on your approval. Which category are you and what did they ask you in the interview?
  18. Congrats on your approval. What do they generally ask during interview?
  19. Any recent EB1 -C interview experiences in the group? I searched this thread but could not find any recent posts for managerial category?
  20. I registered for the online account as per the pre interview checklist. It asked me to add applicants. I have added myself and my spouse..both in the same account. Do I need to separately register and create a new account for my spouse
  21. What is a reasonable timeline to get passports back once approved? I know for september folks it took longer as they were out of visas. But in a normal circumstances can we expect the passports back in 2 weeks? Is it reasonable
  22. Have you come across anyone on this forum who has not got the recent covid shot because of unavailability and yet got approved without issues?
