  1. For those who have crossed the border or done the initial entry process, is there a way to track the delivery of the printed green card or the SSNs? How can I know how much time it can take?
  2. I dont think they allow. Only those on the application are allowed.
  3. When they said completed August 2023 on the website, I had not even received my IL and my DQ date was 2nd Aug. So I believe if they issued even 1 letter for the month, they update the website to that month. I got my IL in the next round after the month was updated to Aug. Hope this helps

  5. Hi I shared my experience already. If you click on my profile, you will be able to find it in the previous 2-3 pages. Let me see if I can link it here.
  6. What's your category? And PD or DQ.

  7. Yes it did change to Issued and also I got a separate email with tracking number. Once it was delivered at the Canada Post PO, I got a notification from Canada Post also that it is available for pickup.
  8. I got my passport yesterday. It took them only 3 days to send the passports after the interview. This was very quick - I was not expecting that. Picked up the passport in the afternoon and drove to the land border at Niagara at night. Activated the green card and drove back into Canada. The activation/first entry process was very straightforward. Officer was really nice, polite and helpful. He explained that I could use the endorsement on the Immigrant Visa for multiple entry exit till I receive the green card in mail. Overall it took 45 mins at the land border. Happy to answer any questions.
  9. Congratulations. So happy for you! You have been very helpful and responsive on this forum. All the best for the future!
  10. @JBG123 - how did the border crossing go? anything to keep in mind.
  11. My letter had the first set of bullet points you mentioned. Did not include worksite or job duties. It was accepted. Let us know how it goes. All the best
  12. Any experiences of border crossing to activate the green card? How much time does it usually take? How much time should we account for? I am planning to go to the Niagara border and do the process once I get my passports and come back to Canada to wrap up stuff here. I believe you get a stamp for 1 yr on the passport to exit /enter multiple times till you get the green card? Can someone confirm. Anything else I should keep in mind for the border process?
  13. Mostly around the background and where will you be staying in the US. Everything was in the petition already.
