Really difficult to say, he had zero interest in looking at any of my documents, he basically looked at his computer all the way through and would ask a question here and there.
did my interview today. The officer didn’t ask for any of my documentation didn't ask for any new evidence because he said that uploaded more than enough when we filed didn't asked me any questions and said he need to speak to supervisor regarding our application so he couldn’t give me an answer yet, just wondering how long after an interview before you get a decision
So consulted with an attorney yesterday regarding my case because my husband is incarcerated. I got really great advise but at the same time I'm a little nervous. My husband and I have a 12 year history together 7 of those years we have been married. The attorney told me that my biggest issue is the intent that I need to convince the officer my intent was not to stay and marry for a green card I thought intent is determined at the POE???? we have been married 7 years I have documentation of phone calls every day and visiting logs among other things. I'm also in my late 40’s I would think that's more than enough to show there was no intent to get married just for a green card???? Anyone have some input????
We have 12 years of evidence - phone calls, letters, Visiting logs, Correspondence with various prison officials, Correspondence with his attorneys. We have no problem proving the validity of our marriage
good day we have our interview scheduled for June. Unfortunately, my husband is incarcerated and will not be able to make the interview when we file for our paperwork. We included the part of the policy where it said waivers for incarcerated petitioners, and we include evidence of his incarceration obviously he can’t attend the interview. What do I do, please help
