  1. They asked her to go to one of clinics that provide them and email the proof once completed. We had to search online a bit to find a place to get it done but ultimately it wasn't overly difficult to get it knocked out.
  2. COVID booster is required if you haven't had one in the last 12 months. We had our medical appointment in April and was the case for my wife. Also some guidance below. Source: cdc.gov - "For the purposes of the immigration medical examination only, applicants who have not received a COVID-19 vaccine dose in the 12 months prior to the date of the exam are considered due for a dose."
  3. We had our interview 22 April. Had to submit some extra documents which they had received on 26 April. She received her passport with visa on 30 April. She lives only an hour form the embassy and probably aided in the speedy delivery.
  4. We used this one: Travelodge London Vauxhall Nothing fancy but not terribly priced and is about as close as you can get. 80 -100 pounds with late checkout so we could leave our things during the interview.
  5. My wife had her interview late April. Pretty much the same situation you are describing. I just printed my W2 and tax transcripts from both years to bring with her just in case. However, they did not even make attempt to look at any of our tax or financial documents. If you want you can still upload the new tax information ahead of time too.
