Hi 🙂 my birth certificate is translated. When I asked for I asked for the English version and they just gave an “ international” one which mean it’s translated in all languages the cost was 25 dollars. I don’t know if it helps case he is in France but I got mine from the loja do cidadão in Portugal and that was it. I’m honestly not sure if they take a Portuguese one or not Sorry not dollar, euros 😅 I’ve spent too much time in the us

Just because Portugal doesn’t doimmigrant visa interviews anymore 😩 and yes combined we have more than 6 months together in person through our relationship

It was two months away but I got lucky cause they don’t have a lot at all at the time they had two dates in June and then all September from there

Hey thank you so much for the reassurance 🙂 we booked our own appointment on the us embassy in France you go to the immigrant visa space on the website and select the option to book your interview there will be an option saying “ we’ve received notice from the embassy to book my k visa “ something like that. Just be sure to do your DS160 first

Hello guys I’m new here wish I knew about this place sooner but anyway! I’m from Portugal and my fiancé from the US we did the entire process and now just what’s left is my medical and interview! medical is soon in a few days. I’ve spent long periods of time with him cause I’m just finishing college so I could and we decorated our future home, got cats, we have a venue booked for the wedding. Have met each others parents more than once spent holidays with them like Christmas and Easter. Had an engagement party made for us. This for saying that I have a literal book of pictures and proof and we are very much anxious to finally be together with no deadlines… I am extremely nervous for the interview and I just came seeking success stories and reassurance so I can remain calm until then lol Our process was followed by a lawyer too. We are flying together ( even if he can’t enter the embassy) to Paris in June for the interview. Hope everything is going great for everyone here we all know how taxing it can be to just wanna be with your soulmate and have it be delayed
