Last night, I realized my father had won the US Diversity Visa Lottery. However, when I was checking the paper for him, I realized that mistakenly the foreign state chargeability was written as Hungary instead of Iran. However, his address is correct, and it's his address in Iran.
Unfortunately, the reason was when i was registering him for the Diversity Visa Lottery, my browser's autofill changed the nationality to Hungary as i am living in Hungary. (My dad born in iran and lives in iran , however he had hungarian resident permit for over 10 years)
My question is, is there any problem regarding this issue, or does he have a chance to apply for this amazing opportunity to get a US green card? Is it worth it to continue the process?
I appreciate your help and guidance.
