  1. As a postscript to this topic, our EAD/AP was just approved. 83 days. Not super-fast, but very reasonable considering present circumstances.
  2. Thanks, that's what I thought. Then is the message on the Visa Journey timeline out of date? Or no longer relevant in current times?
  3. Entered on K1, married; simultaneously filed for adjustment, EAD and parole; and did biometrics. It's now been almost three months and we haven't received EAD. On my Timeline it says that based on timeline data, the EAD should have been adjudicated a month ago and suggests I "call USCIS to inquire".... In practice, what does this entail, how do I do it and is it recommended, as the profile in USCIS says I am still within normal processing time.
  4. I got my biometrics and interview appointments for Sept. 18-19. What I was doing wrong originally was putting "Sept 4" -- the first date of availability -- in the embassy interview box. Because that date was so early, there were no biometrics appointments available. When I changed the interview date to the third week of September, that's when a bunch of biometrics appointments became available in the second box. This may be self-evident, but it was confusing for me, so I leave this here in case someone else was having a similar issue.
  5. Sorry to keep posting, but I'm just going to update this thread in case someone comes across it later and finds it useful. I got my biometrics and interview appointments for Sept. 18-19. 6. Thanks. I just checked today and there are currently interview appointments but available but not biometrics appointments. So I'm not able to schedule anything at the moment. Hopefully that's a momentary oddity. I'll check again tonight and tomorrow to see if biometrics slots have opened up.
  7. To update myself, I only had to wait two days for appointments to open up. But as of now they only have embassy interview appointments available, not biometrics appointments, which seems odd. So I've been able to pay but have been unable to schedule anything at the moment.
  8. Hello, I received Packet 3, did the DS-160 and am now waiting for an appointment to open up. Does anyone have any recent experience of how long they waited?
  9. Looking at your timeline, it looks like everything worked out well for you. I just got a similar "no appointments available" message and I'm planning to check the site every day. Out of curiosity, how many days elapsed for you before you were able to schedule an appointment?
