  1. I heard back within 3 days. It went really smoothly and it seems like as long as you have the offer, it's zero problem. I didn't end up going through with it and got to keep my US salary in the UK so me and my wife considered it all a big win!
  2. I 100% agree and hope, but seeing some of the other stuff people post online is very doom and gloom! It does say my start date is July 1st as well, so fingers crossed. Thanks
  3. Yes already have the appointment with them in person within the week. Everything is printed out and ready to go. Just dotting my i's and crossing my t's!
  4. I have an appointment next week in London. Someone at the American company I worked for was fired and my boss offered me a significant pay raise of $104,000 where I was previously earning $78,000 in that same role before I came to the UK. I've been unemployed in the UK but doing contract work for my boss. He's given me confirmation with a written offer including relocation benefits. My wife is a British citizen and likely won't have a problem finding employment in the US, she works in finance. I'm worried that I'll have to relocate back to the US because that is a lot of money to pass up and be leaving my wife here in the UK. We did long distance enough and don't wish to again. Is there anything else that would help us other than the offer letter from my employer with the DCF? He'd like me to be back before July 1st.
