    They called both of us like 25 mins late only. Interview was quick for about 20 mins. First, civics test then reading and writing. Then she verified the application and yes/no questions. Both the officers just checked the driving license, passport and green card. They didn’t ask for any other documents. During the citation questions, my husband mentioned about our parking tickets. She just asked whether it was paid and made a note of it in the application. Didn’t check that document as well. By the way, Now my husband’s status says, “Recommended for approval and oath ceremony will be scheduled”.

    Last week, My husband and I both got this email notification within 20 mins of intervals. But none of our status got changed. No need to worry.

    Glad to hear that. Our field office also SJ. My husband and I are having our interviews on 6/21. We are having our international trip after couple of weeks. Would like to know more about oath ceremony. I heard that they are having oath ceremony on every other Fridays. If you don’t mind, can you plz share the oath ceremony timings at SJ? Are they having 2 or 3 times of oath in a same day? Both of our interviews are scheduled for 9 am and 9:50 am. If everything goes well, we are planning to request the officer for the same day oath. Is it possible for us to have the same day oath if the officer allows us. Please share your thoughts. Thank you.

    Hi, I filed N400 on 3/16 under 5 year rule. Biometrics was reused on the same day. Interview notice was sent on May 15 and interview is scheduled for 6/21. But I received an email this morning from USCIS saying they took an action on my case. I logged in but don’t see an update in my case. Is it normal for USCIS to take action like this? or Is this kind of RFE? I am a bit worried. Anyone experienced similar situation? Guide me please. Thanks.

    Also taking the receipts of 2 parking violation tickets for which I already paid few years back, around $45 each. But forgot to mention that in the N400 application. I hope it is fine🤞

    Yes. There were transcripts for only 4 years in IRS site but we are taking the 5 th year tax return docs from the turbo tax to prove that we filed.

    Hi, Do we need to carry only the last 5 years federal tax return transcripts from the IRS website to interview or do we need to take state tax return transcripts too? Need some clarification. Thank you.
