  1. Hi everyone! I have a question for the CR1/IR1 Visa. We recently got documentarily qualified with NVC on 6/8/24. They stated NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in AUCKLAND, NZLD to schedule an interview appointment for my husband. I read that it could take up to 3 months from when we got qualified to get an interview date. Any updates of the interview processing times with those that recently got their interview date? Would it help to email AucklandIV@state.gov to inquire about the interview processing dates? Also, is that the correct contact email? I know emailing won't help as I might end up with an automated email response but it doesn't hurt to get back on their radar.

Any words of wisdom for the Medical Examination in Auckland and also the CRI/IR1 spouse interview (to eliminate any possible hiccups any of you might have came across)?

Thank you all, I'm trying to gather as much information I can by reading all your posts as I don't want to miss out on any beneficial information that could delay our process. If someone can respond and give any information, I would appreciate it! Thanks so much! ❤️🙏

  2. Hi fellow May filers! For those of you that are still waiting for their approvals - hang in there as it is coming soon! 🙏

For those of you that got approved earlier this May - congratulations on getting to the NVC stage, finally!!! I haven't seen much talk about NVC on here besides one or two, is there a different forum we can get directed to for fellow support on the next steps for those of us that have filed in May and have gotten to the NVC stage? It would be nice to follow along with each of our May-filers journeys to completion and have that continued support through our NVC stage. Any May NVC stage fellow friends here? ❤️

NVC issued our interview date for the Bangkok Embassy (July 15) on Tuesday morning.  Good luck to all of you!   Keep checking USCIS.

Hi Lenny, Congratulations!!! May I ask, when did you submit all of your documentation to NVC? I am also on the NVC stage and was curious about the timeline until they grant an interview date.

It’s a year tomorrow for my first ( and only) active review

    no errors on form

    no RFE

no updates at all since first review may 2,2023

( pd April 23 2023/ received April 27,2023 ) I told hubby today so of this doesn’t happen what is plan B?

I am sure your approval is just around the corner! Stay positive as your time will come. I can understand how hard it is, as I had a breakdown today, being away from your spouse is difficult, especially if you're a newly married couple. But I agree with the person above, perhaps take into account the "case is actively being reviewed" date as well. Hoping you get the good news soon! Keep us posted 🥹

Same here ... been quite some time saying " the case is taking longer than expected " . NO UPDATE ON IT yet really getting frustrated 😒..

Hi Jasmine! If you don't mind sharing, what is your timeline for filing?

I actually looked into the April 2023 filers forum on here and it looks like they are getting their approvals, so hopefully good news for us May 2023 filers and hope we hear something soon! All the best to us 🥹...

  8. Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum. Not sure how long ago this forum was last updated but I am also a May 2023 filer for my spouse, who is in NZ.

We filed on May 3, 2023

Case being actively reviewed notice - June 1, 2023

    Texas Service Center

Before it used to show a timeline, now it's been at the status " Your case is taking longer than expected to process" for quite some time now. I've read around other forums and it looks like this is normal as others are experiencing it too.

Our case is coming to almost a year now and I am just getting agitated to receive some type of update or course of action. Can someone respond to this thread with any of their updates as well?
