My company put my name in H1B 23 lottery and was picked up. They also filed the petition but the petition result was very late and the client/project for which it was filed got filled/not available anymore. They are filing amendment but they are saying they are not able to find any sufficient role for my profile.
Now i am not sure they will able to find due to market conditions.
My question is, i am planning to change employer. So is there any way a new petition or amendment can be filed by new employer and that does not has to go lottery again?
This is my first H1B process.
