  1. Yes it got approved after 6 weeks , after I sent the waiver
  2. Maybe next year Trump would cancel the vax requirement
  3. While you are still in the Philippines , once you are getting closer to fly to the USA I would go to the family doctor and ask to write you a letter you are not vaccinated at all and no records could be found about vaccines. If you are planing to apply for religious exemption to AOS that letter from your doctor would weight a lot! I wouldn’t be worried about that right now, as k1 is a noon immigrant visa so no vax required. To give you an idea about the exemption, it’s not hard, you would have to be sincere. The hardship letter is very essential. I’ve wrote 2 pages for the exemption and 8 pages for the hardship letter with a bunch of evidence attached and very well documented what’s going to happen if the aos doesn’t get approved! You write the religios exemption letter , your husband writes the hardship letter. I even made bullet points and 1 page summary! In my opinion the religious exemption is easier to write , they have to approve it , it’s your constitutional right! But the hardship letter is like writing a book about your life. This is what I sent: - religious exemption letter; - translated and original letter from doctor saying there is no proof of vaccines ; - letter from a friend confirming the religion ( you don’t have to ) ; - hardship letter ( emotional, financial , political and social impact on your relationship if the aos doesn’t get approved! Explain why you guys want to be together, be as much as honest as you can and try to touch souls like the officer that reads your case would need a tissue to wipe tears . lol They are humans too! Good luck to you!
  4. Hey, no you can’t bring her with a tourist visa while in pending for immigration purposes! I am familiar with the political situation in Georgia, I wouldn’t worry too much tho, everything will work, patience. We always see things differently from here, I wouldn’t watch news, last year I thought Europe would be wiped out, went to visit family and everyone is clubbing and enjoying life. I was in the same situation you are right now, except I am adjusting status from tourist visa , yes it’s possible but not with form 130 in pending and even if you cancel, they would see it… “have you ever applied for an immigration status bla bla “ ! I am from a neighbor country, adjusting status from here , not easy, I don’t do vax, not easy but I’d pack my stuff any minute and go back home. What they want us to go thru it’s insane!
  5. Hello Alina, Do you mind sharing a few ideas to write the waiver? Did you have a lawyer writing the waiver for you? thanks
  6. How do you prove you haven’t been vaccinated? I am filling form 601 based on moral beliefs and I’ve been told I have to show evidence of not accepting vaccines! Is the declining all the vaccines at the medical exam enough? Or I would need some more evidence? Am I overthinking? How one can prove hasn’t been vaccinated? Thanks!
  7. Would someone share some bullet points for vaccines waiver filed on personal / philosophic beliefs? I am writing it by myself and it’s a tone of info. For example, can we cite from Bible? Does it fall under 1st amendament rights? What else to say? Thanks and I appreciate any input and ideas!
  8. Hello, My mom filled for AOS from turist visa. Sent the i485 in February, in April she received a rfe for medical( form 693) with a due date in July. She hasn’t been vaccinated as an adult at all , based on her personal believes, although she only had 1 vaccine as a baby so now 74 years ago but none during the adulthood. So now with her being already in the USA and form i485 in pending can we just submit the waiver so form i601 now or we have to wait for her case to get denied? Thanks!
