Ours has gone to taking longer than expected

USCIS appear to have approved nearly 2000 march 2024 filers in the last week. That's roughly the same number as they approved July 2023 applications which is the month, according to commonly quoted timelines, which can be expected to receive approval soon. Has anybody on this forum received a decision from March 2024 yet?

Ours just changed from 2 months to 4 months 🙂

We filed our I-130 on March 28th 2024 at the Texas service centre. We received the "we have taken action on your case" email on 15th April 2024, with no update on the my account or document tab. Today we are still on the "Case has been received and a receipt notice has been sent" with no updates. My progress shows 2 months and it's always shown 2 months

My wife spoke with an agent through the live chat and was told that an officer looked at the case yesterday and that's why we received the email

Hi @Reynal2m we filed on March 28th 2024 at Texas service centre and we received an email same time as you saying "We have taken an action on your case". Can you DM me with details of the WhatsApp group you mentioned Cheers
